"My dream? To become a hero!"

“Hmm, I don’t see why not. “Urgh Zack’s  puppy like manner gets her almost every time, making her  heart skip and   smile. She’s not  complaining though. 

“Besides, I think Cloud just wants to eat  the cooking of a certain brunette he likes without being rude to me.” She  can’t help but tease.

“…I don’t know what you’re talking about. Tifa is just a friend. I’m not interested in her like that ” However if you look at right, there’s a faint pinkish hue on his cheeks as he  looks away.

“Pffft Suuuuure Cloud. I you say so~ I’ll believe that when you can look me in the eye and say it with a straight face.” He pretty much gave himself away. She can’t help but giggle.

“I mean Tifa’s cooking is amazing, I wont deny that. But I thnk Cloud just wants an excuse to over and see her.” Zack said with a slight ruffle of the other’s hair before looking over at Louella. “And I think some time out of the apartment just to relax would be great for all of us.” 

((Ok, i know i disappeared of the face of the earth yet again. But life got crazy hectic. So don’t blame me. But i should be back for longer than a few weeks this time. So i’m gonna reply to what i can find but if i owe you something PLEASE send me a link to the post! ))

Xeria groans as she leans against the wall to help her stand. She’d been on her way home from a mission in Agrabar when the corridor of darkness she was using started to attack her and spat her out in some random world she doesn’t recognize. She takes stock of her injuries to make sure they’re not too much worse from her rough landing. Her leg is injured pretty bad. A heartless had gotten too close and managed to claw her up pretty bad before she could stop it. Her shoulder feels possibly dislocated and severely bruised even if it’s not.

She looks up when she hears someone talking to her. “Oh sorry. I’ll be okay. I just had a bad landing. Could you tell me where I am please?”

The fact she said that she had a bad landing got an eyebrow raise from Zack. Was this girl doing parkour or something like that? Ignoring his thoughts for a moment he offered a hand to help her up. “You’re in Midgar, more specifically in Sector 8. How’d you fall if you doing mind me asking?”

Reno was laughing loudly, almost impolitely so at something Rude had said. Just lingering outside the lift and for the most part shooting the shit. When he hears a voice he recalls, the redheard turns, smile bright. He gave Rude a friendly swat on the arm, “I’ll see you later Rude! We’re still on for dinner!”

 Rude said his goodbyes and headed of to the basement. Reno on the other hand, jogged over and threw an arm around the back of Zack’s neck in a hook armed jostle hug. “Still in the land of the living!!! Good to see ya Fair!” The touch is platonic and openly friendly. “Heyyyy lookin’ good. Get a tan out in the field?”

A small laugh could be heard from the raven-haired SOLDIER. “Haven’t kicked the bucket yet! Good to see you too Reno, how have you been?” Upon being asked if he had gotten a tan while out on his mission he looked at his arms for a second. “Huh. I guess so. Didn’t even notice until now.”

@sparkadream asked: Now that there were no longer any missions that could crop up to drag Zack away the two were able to spend far more time together. Sure, Adam might still be summoned to deal with a demon or two every once in a while but most of the time he ended up ignoring it. Today was one such example of him ignoring a summons as he had full intention of spending the day with his fiancé. “You know I’m not really one for planning much.” Adam notes as he pulls Zack close, leaning in to leave a quick kiss on his lips. “But how does a day out in the town followed by finding a nice spot to watch the stars tonight sound?” Simple yes, but frankly simple was nice from time to time

Zack smiled as he looked at his fiancé it had been a long week of missions and he was glad to finally have a day to himself. He chuckled as he was kissed by Adam. "I like the sound of that. Been too long since we had time for a simple day out with one another."

“Oh? and what is the Midgar Special exactly Reno?” 

Zack asked with a small smile playing on his lips. Whether it was some kind of food or a new attack he thought up a flashy name for had yet to be seen. But Zack was indeed curious at this point.

Her eyes wandered up the vial and thought for a moment. Perhaps this was something similar to one of her elixir’s or one of the bottles she uses to create her own distraction. Esmeralda nodded her head, understanding the simple rules. “Proceed.”

Zack loosened the top of the vial just enough so when it hit the ground if the vial didn’t break the liquid would still come out. Narrowing his eyes, Zack aimed for the spot between the guards.

Zack was just walking around Sector 8 when he heard what sounded like a crash in an alleyway not far from where he was. “What in the...” He trailed off as he drew his sword and slowly approached the source of the sound. What he didnt expect to see was a young girl leaning against the wall. 

Zack stretched as he entered the ShinRa building after a long mission. “Man, am I glad to finally be back home.” He remarked to no one but himself as he made his way down to the SOLDIER floor. As he made his way through the building. He spotted a familiar face.

Zack crossed his arms as he looked at Reno. “I don’t get it, you’re a Turk. The people who do ShinRa’s dirty work. Why are you helping a resistance faction? Especially with one that has an Ex- SOLDIER among their members?”

 Zack was beyond confused, as the rest of his group went in he stayed behind just in case they were followed.

Having not expected the hair ruffling Sisora did tense just a bit but at least he didn’t voice an objection. Though he did reach up to make sure that it didn’t cause any of his hair to wrap around his horns. Which, thankfully, it hadn’t. so with a small sigh the hybrid let his hand fall back into the dog’s fur. Dark blue eyes glance over to the other a moment after a little thought to the question. “Uh…how did your last mission go? I heard it was a rough one.” In other words, just talking was fine.

It was a rough one. The target was a slippery bastard, but in the end we got him. Thankfully too, I don’t want to think what could have happened if he got back into the city.” Zack replied with a slight sigh.

While Zack would never bring up his work unless asked to, he didn’t mind it. After all, he was proud to be a SOLDIER. But it didn’t mean he didn’t have doubts.

Zack was leaning against the front of the bar as he kept his ears open. He couldn’t be to safe after all. Never know when a ShinRa rat would be walking by. Hearing the loud laughter from Barret and them all made him smile. 

Looks like a successful mission. He thought to himself as his eyes landed on a mop of blond hair he hadn’t seen in a long time. He dropped the water bottle he had in his hand before walking closer.

Zack looked ahead at his mentor. Still in disbelief that he of all people would betray ShinRa. That he would betray SOLDIER. “Angeal...” He trailed off before stepping a bit closer to the man he is still sees as his mentor even if SOLDIER has deemed him a traitor.
