Here is a recent photo of the bus, but we are adding to it every week! The wood stove isn’t installed yet, but that is right where it will sit once we get the metal fireproof lining and flue pipe installed! That area on the left will be the little bathroom and just behind that, under the bed, is the doggie area! The pallet wood drawer is our refrigerator that pulls out from under the bed and is powered by solar.

I never knew a school bus could be so elegant. In this conversion, the owners raised the roof- you’ll see why, in a minute. It’s totally solar-powered, too, for off-the-grid living.

Check this out. The blue-beamed ceiling is beautiful and it’s pretty roomy. 

The kitchen is full-sized.

Lovely dining table with a big window. The added windows give the bus a lot of natural light, and at night the recessed lighting takes over. 

Nice bathroom. 

This is why they raised the roof. Have you ever seen a bus with stairs to a loft? Under the bed, is their daughter’s sleeping area.
