Knowing how much it will hurt James, Betty’s been keeping her summer dreams to herself, but she knows it’s time to tell him. Will he still accept her after this? 

James has a good heart and wants to help out his friend Lex, but there may be more than friendship brewing between them. 

This summer was meant for them - fun, romance, and freedom down the shore! But all of a sudden an opportunity is at Betty’s door, beckoning her to choose her dreams over the dreams she and James had together. 

James and Betty may be high school sweethearts, but that doesn’t mean James can’t have any other friends, right? He and Lex have a ton in common, and they’ve formed a friendly rivalry on their swim team. What could go wrong? 

betty and james may be the perfect couple, but betty has other dreams. Will she choose to go her own way, or stick with the dreams she and james have together? 

The tension starts between Lex and Betty
