my doll house ♡

oh so i absolutely lied btw.. even though i did preorder other blind box bjds, the curiosity and excitement was eating me up inside so i went ahead and bought one that was in stock. this one is puppy themed but the pink/black/gray & morute vibes of this baby basically forced her into my cart!

i DID do an unboxing video but in general i find her super adorable. she does need a stand because she fell almost immediately after this photo was taken BUT i can hunt one down for her no biggie :')

my current OTW that i can't stop thinking about! especially cause i got such good pricing for them. they're my first blind box bjd dolls, but i was able to buy from a seller that let you choose your pull 🤭 they'll supposedly ship in beginning of june so i still have a bit of a wait. (june edit: they are delayed til september..)

originally i was only gonna get 1 since black/purple is one of fave color combos. then something about zoe really stuck out to me, her face is so cute and her vibe feels very #me so i have a feeling she will mostly be living in my purse.

btw for anyone wondering they are called mixangel. i believe their regular price is $50-60 but i had a nice coupon for a discount on both.

i'm slowly but surely starting to get back into my doll hobby, which i recently realized i still love so much! i had simply forgotten how much joy dolls bring me :') ♡

one of my main projects right now is working on a custom doll of chii from the anime chobits, which is one of my top 3 favorites. i think i've rewatched it about 3-4 times ever since discovering it about two years ago? she's so freaking adorable ♡ and doesn't seem too difficult, so i thought combining two things i love would keep me motivated.

as of now i've been able to order an obitsu head and 10mm anime eyes for her, from parabox. i decided to go with 1/6 scale since it's so easy to manage and comfortable for me. ♡ i will be using a kay sculpt head on an obitsu body, then possibly 3d printing her ears/hair clips. i will most likely make the wig and just attach them directly.

better late than never, here is my review of the convention w club doll: a beautiful gothic rayna dressed in alexander mcqueen (A/W 2018)! it doesn't get any better! i was honestly impressed with this doll in person and so so happy to have gotten her. check out my video and let me know your thoughts of her. she's a doll i'd 100% recommend to anyone who doesn't own her yet.

This year I found myself mostly underwhelmed by the dolls from the Integrity Toys Convention.. but I had to definitely pick up at least Poppy who made a few appearances this year. Among her best was Gold Snap Poppy, which I will review for you guys in this video! Despite a very familiar-looking palette I was pleased with her in person. I will also be reviewing Chiller Thriller Poppy Parker, very soon! Hope you enjoy :)
