hey if you have a window unit or another smaller a/c unit like a portable unit and it's been a while since you cleaned your filters (like me), do yourself a favor and clean your filters. depending on the model, you may also need to drain fluid out- I'm going to let my room cool down a little bit more and then open her up- but if you have a drip pan or a hose that carries fluid away, that shouldn't be necessary for you, but it's worth checking on.
it's been so miserable all week and some of that is the triple digit temperatures, but the unit is blowing a lot more air now, so some of it was just that it was fighting for its life through dust and cat hair. I gotta be better about it.
(I know the big house air cons have filters and stuff too but it kind of depends on what kind you've got how often they need checking I think? couldn't hurt to look, anyway.)
