“Your dresses aren’t half as bad as the dresses she picks out for Bellatrix,” she mused. She had already decided to grant her sister’s favour, but found great pleasure in keeping Andromeda on her toes for just a second longer. However, she wasn’t cruel enough to let her sister go through the torment of dress-shopping with their mother. Wouldn’t wish that upon her worst enemy. “Just lunch? Is that how much my presence is worth? I should just tell mother then.”
An amused smile played at the corner of Narcissa’s lips as she watched her sister grovel for mercy. “Lunch, and you have to buy me a new dress!”
“Is that meant to make me feel better?” she smiled, a small giggle managing to slip out. Andromeda knew, or at least hoped Narcissa wouldn’t allow her to suffer through the agony of shopping with their mother, irregardless, she couldn’t help but shoot her a gaze of disbelief as she seemed to consider whether or not she’d go. “Not in the slightest, but I had to start somewhere, you know!”
“But fine, a new dress, maybe some shoes, and lunch. Sound good enough for you, Cissa?” She teased, already reaching for her jacket.
