Dublin based DJ Sean Whitty has put together a mix with selections from earth and some not-so from earth. Electronic music with pockets of dub and hidden funk which lurks in the back waiting to sucker punch anyone who gets too comfortable. Whitty plays Colourfest, Twisted Pepper 2/4/14. Drawsoc proudly present COLOURFEST, a music and art showcase night taking place in the TWISTED PEPPER on the 2nd of April 2014. Our aim is promote local Irish artists, musicians and DJs along with giving a fun night to all those who come.

Headlining the event is CLU. This act is leading the forefront of the Irish electronic music scene with their fantastic audio visual show, fusing music and art into an amazing and memorable event. Comprised of Sean Cooley, who is joined on the visual end by Kevin Freeney, CLU have leapt to the forefront of Ireland’s burgeoning electronic music scene. Other DJ’s on the night will include Sean Whitty, Leftundersounds, Glen Stefani and Mark Grace. 

Art from artists residing in Ireland will be displayed throughout the venue, decorating the Twisted Pepper and turning it into an experience of colour and creativity. There will even be a chance to create your own pieces and add them to our collection on the night where we encourage the artist to come out in all our guests! 

All profits from the night go back into Drawsoc in order to keep art classes held in UCD free and to fund future exhibitions. Anyone student or non-student can join.
