How will our resin dolls age?

Realistically, the earliest modern BJDs are from the very end of the 90s. We see dolls yellow and change color and all that...

But what comes after? Because, as someone who also collects old celluloid and hard plastic etc dolls.. I'm kinda worried we'll start seeing dolls crumble given another 10-20 years. Or become more brittle, or warp or who knows what else. Especially the earlier ones, since the resin wasn't as great back then.

@ashcaryaa here are the heads for the clones. They are 3D printed, hand painted by me, and in this case are made for 1/6th scale figures which are about 12" tall. I also do them for 12th scale figures that are 6", such as Black Series. I also make the 5 Bad Batch guys too, not just the regs. I love these 3D animated style versions. I am going to custom paint my Hot Toys Bad Batch figure armor too, giving it more detail. Just haven't had time. The last picture is an example of the 12th scale Black Series customs I do. The heads are the same line of 3D printed, animated style, and the armor all gets painted in more detail. All this is for sale in my Etsy shop.

Here’s an update for you. The Rit dyemore dyed doll heads have faded massively, 2 out of 3.

Vintage Barbie far left is QUITE greenish in person, it’s ghastly.

Purple Repro Barbie in the middle has paled somewhat evenly (head only – the arms and legs it used to match are strangely unchanged).

And green clone doll on the far right doesn’t appear to have changed at all.

Too many factors to pin it down, but from this limited data I’d guess that maybe Mattel head vinyl is the culprit?
