I let her have the little bit of peanutbutter that was left. She looked at me like I gave her the world.

Since December, I have been working with my tattoo artist to collaborate between one of my paintings and her linework… it was finally finished today!

I have always been incredibly insecure about my upper arm because, when my arms are down, the fat squishes around it and makes me look bloated/beefy. As of today, I’m not afraid to wear sleeveless shirts. I'm slowly starting to love my skin.

I have my family’s names engraved onto my spine to remind me of the people that I love and how they’ve always been my strength (my backbone… I know, so cheesy). I now also have a reminder when I look in the mirror that my artwork, the one thing that I think I’m actually a bit talented at, is actually kind of decent.

I feel good tonight. Thank you for reading.
