Hey, Daniel - So sorry it’s taken me so long to respond to this. I’ve kind of abandoned Tumblr as a platform for original comics, so I rarely check my “ask” inbox. Anyway... thanks so much for ht kind words! I’m so glad you enjoed the comic. As far as my style goes: for Oyster War I used only dip pens. I was trying to emulate the look of early 20th century newspaper comics. I used  G-pen for my outlines and a zebra nib for the hatching. As for how to get into the industry and how to be successful: be passionate about comics, read and analyse comics you enjoy, and--most important--always be producing work.
