Let me tell you all it was one of the first kdramas that I watched and this had me crying so much . It was infact the first one that made me cry . I will only be talking about the story of the main lead couple because there is al lot to discuss if I don't just mainstream it .

At first when Yoon seri who was from South Korea got accidentally stuck in North Korea i was just so afraid for her . Both the countries are such rivals that it would have been very bad for her if Captain Ri Jung Hyuk wasn't there to help her .

Slowly , they fell in love despite being from rival countries. They shared the same language and culture to a basic level but still there were drastic differences between them and their lifestyle .

The way the protected each other and had each other's back was just so much for me .

The scene where they are at the border and they just had to say a final goodbye to each other and they did so without caring about the military people present (please look for the attached video) , they could have gotten shot at but they didn't care . It got me crying so hard .

Despite the fact that they could never be together because of the rivalry between their countries and the existing situation and laws, they still made it work in the end .

Spoiler alert

They meet once a year in Switzerland for a few days every year !! This ending scene just got me crying soo much ....

There is just so much to say and discuss i can write a full book on it , I loved it so much but I am not very good with words so I will leave it here .

Also Captain Ri: *makes the same women he was questioning killing home made noodles and feeds her, and gives her constant puppy eyes*

All the bois shocked faces; Captain Ri can't believe what he is seeing... That capitalist woman! Giving away her finger heart to these soldiers! How many hearts does she think she has? What about... what about the heart she gave him?
