Truly though, all of the times a Big Bad Sith Lord tells my widdle pissant agent I should have killed you when I had the chance!!! Okay??! Why didn’t you? My plot armor and my actual armor is paper thin! I am sat waiting for your answer. Our fight can wait!
#the Sith looooove to lament how they should’ve killed you when they had the chance#the reality is that it’s arrogance#they always thought they could control the IA. they never really truly believed that a force blind agent could escape their control#because the Sith have a massive superiority problem as a culture when it comes to the force blind#even after you have DEFEATED A DARK COUNCILOR they are STILL underestimating you#because some part of most of them believes that it was a fluke or Jadus was weak or whatever#so they install the control program#and then that doesn’t work#and by that point they’re so busy with Other Shit that by the time anyone realizes the IA is about to go rogue it’s too late#the other part is that the IA is exceedingly useful to them#what other force blind agent has accomplished as many force user kills as the IA?#so they convince themselves they can keep the IA leashed AND that doing so will be a massive boon worth the risk#and by the time it becomes apparent that is not true it is again too late#and of course in hindsight they shouldn’t have taken the risk and should have just killed your#truly the IA storyline is one about constantly being underestimated and making it everyone else’s problem sometimes
