Servalan's Flowers is a walking repository of quotes who wanders around in search of inspiration, safety, and peace. She specializes in fangirling and graphic design.
Salem is an artist and graphic designer fascinated with the world-building of Dragon Age. They are also drawn in by the characters that fall under the "sad wet stray dog" archetypes, such as Solas and Lucanis.
Olivia is a writer who joined the Dragon Age fandom in 2024 and hasn't stopped thinking about Hawke since. An infamous grammar nerd both in and out of fandom spaces, Olivia is thrilled to use her proofreading powers for DAA this year!
Mike D-E is a sometimes proofreader, author, and huge fantasy & RPG nerd. He's been obsessed with the world and characters of Thedas since making his first elven mage at the release of Origins and he's thrilled to be involved with this project.

El is a long-time Dragon Age fan and fic writer and incredibly happy to return to Dragon Age Annual as part of the production team! He writes about elves and assassins and elves that are assassins.
Dreadfutures is an artist and writer, but science is her day job. They love connecting with characters as they interact imperfectly with the world and each other, and seeing how their different worldviews, upbringings, and beliefs shape them.
Archon Bun has lost count of the number of times she's participated in this great project. She's a lore fiend, writer, editor, sometimes-artist, and can be found wherever there are queer people and fantasy Romans. Ideally both.
tea draws people and places for games and animation! She's a food and drink goblin, certified haver of the brainrot, and likes subjeting characters to terrible and wonderful things.

Kei is usually a BG painter on cartoons, but these days they mainly run their online shop and draw all their favourite blorbos! When they're not busy working on this and that, they daydream about picking all the elfroot in the world~
The Hanged Man is becoming an official Swedish non-profit association called The Hanged Man Club, whose purpose is to support, promote, and facilitate creative fan communities and collaborative projects! The paperwork will be done by August 30th, submitted early September, and hopefully be official soon thereafter!
Why are we doing this?
The mods of The Hanged Man also overlap with Dragon Age Annual (DAA). Each year that charity project becomes more difficult to operate without being a formal entity. After reviewing how Swedish non-profits work β and how easy they are to establish β it made more sense to form the organization one level above DAA, rather than at the DAA-level.
By making The Hanged Man Club a non-profit , we can:
consolidate infrastructure (file server, modding docs, etc.) between DAA and our other events
support affiliated projects without absorbing them
share resources like website templates, server space, and newsletter tools with aligned projects
What about cost or overhead?
There's very little! Swedish non-profits are wonderfully straightforward. They require:
one board member living in Sweden
at least two additional board members
one formal public board meeting per year (a Discord text chat counts)
Thereβs no fee to file the paperwork. Members of the club do not have to pay dues, and The Hanged Man Club itself has no need to handle money.
Will anything change in The Hanged Man server or associated events like Arlathan eXchange, DA Polyshipping, or DAA?
Yes and no.
Yes: Technically, you are all members of The Hanged Man Club in the year you participate in an event or DAA. You're also a member if you're a member of The Hanged Man Discord server. (Please note: There are two. Ours was established in 2019 and has been running ever since. The other was established more recently. Membership only comes from participation in the server established in 2019, currently owned by @enigmalea.)
As members, you can attend our yearly board meeting, ask questions and add topics to the agenda. You could also ask us to hold an additional meeting outside of the required yearly one. You may see announcements for meetings and are welcome to attend (or ignore them) at your leisure. We are simply required to have them publicly and allow everyone to attend if they wish to. Meetings will be announced two weeks before they are to take place.
In addition, other projects may become associated with The Hanged Man Club over time.
No: Other than being invited to attend meetings, your day-to-day experience in our events and publications will remain the same. This simply formalizes our legal standing and gives us an ability to act as an organization rather than individuals simply doing good deeds.
Founding Meeting
The Founding Meeting announcement is coming in a few hours today. Until then, we'd like to thank you all for your support, and can't wait to continue on this exciting new adventure with us.
Our parent organization, The Hanged Man Club, is becoming a non-profit! Read more about the change in the post above.
All current DAA contributors are eligible to attend the founding meeting, to be held on Sunday, August 16th, at 12p Pacific. The meeting will be hosted via a Discord link that will be shared next weekend.
Saint Rook is an artist from Ukraine and a big fan of video games. Dragon Age helped them on their creative journey, brought them a lot of inspiration, and helped form their art style. They're so excited to contribute to DAA again, this time making tarot cards.
Mosu is an artist who's been in love with Dragon Age for a few years now. The games and characters have been a very important part of her art journey, and she's thrilled to be adding her little grain of sand for this project! (β ββ β’β α΄β β’β ββ )
Merimeik is an illustrator with a love for dark & cozy fantasy, houseplants, and emotionally taxing stories that violently stomp all over your heart. Thank you, Dragon Age (and community), for defining her taste in fiction since 2010!
