Since I'm new here I thought I'd do a pin post so people could better understand what I'm up to and what to expect (cats and bags and all that), so:
My name is Lana and I'm from Ukraine. This is important cus, as you all (I hope), know, there's an ongoing war in my country and me, my family and a lot of my friends are direct victims of russia's agression and imperialism. I was under blockade and occupation, my entire hometown was ruined completely. I have PTSD, so I am very insistently asking russians and their apologists, h*ated r*valry fans, communists etc to stay away from me. I get reminded of your existence every single day with missiles, air alerts, power outages and obituaries, and I want to have peace at least in fandom spaces.
Getting back to fandom topics: I am mainly in the Supernatural fandom, Castiel is my favorite character, like, ever, and I am a Destiel monoshipper (at least in a sense that they totally outshine any other options these two could have lol)
Some of my other favorite duos/characters: Castiel&Balthazar (we should talk about them more bruh!!!), Castiel&Crowley, Dean&Crowley, Dean&Charlie, Michael&Adam, Dean&Benny, Bobby&Rufus, Bobby&Crowley, Claire&Dean&Castiel, Rowena wherever she exists, she's automatically perfect π, whatever people say but I actually liked Mary, exactly because she wasn't perfect; I like Gabriel, and adore Jack and Eileen!!
I do Not like Meg, though, she is a serial sexual assaulter and I think characters like this do not deserve redemption arcs (especially as poorly written as hers); the same goes to Becky and Lucifer. Wincest and all the similar dni as well!!

I kinda wanna share my writing process or at least be able to yap about the fic I'm working on rn bc I'm actually so excited about how much work and thought I'm putting into it, I enjoy the craftsmanship of creating a story a lot, but I also just don't want to higher people's expectations too much lol. Like it's impossible to know how it would actually turn out when I start writing, + it's my first such big and complex story. Besides, it's not that fanfiction in itself (or writing) is my hobbyβ the storytelling is. I'm using fanfiction now as a training so to say, and I hope I can return to my og project sometime in the future. So with writing this now the most important thing for me is to make it as technically correct as possible and it's kinda scary

I always forget 'The End' is literally s5e4. Like Cas had literally only been in one season at that point and they decided the best course of action for his character was to establish that he would follow Dean for the rest of his life even if it meant slowly depleating himself into something unrecognizable from the angel who originally dedicated himself to Dean in the first place.
