Since I'm new here I thought I'd do a pin post so people could better understand what I'm up to and what to expect (cats and bags and all that), so:
My name is Lana and I'm from Ukraine. This is important cus, as you all (I hope), know, there's an ongoing war in my country and me, my family and a lot of my friends are direct victims of russia's agression and imperialism. I was under blockade and occupation, my entire hometown was ruined completely. I have PTSD, so I am very insistently asking russians and their apologists, h*ated r*valry fans, communists etc to stay away from me. I get reminded of your existence every single day with missiles, air alerts, power outages and obituaries, and I want to have peace at least in fandom spaces.
Getting back to fandom topics: I am mainly in the Supernatural fandom, Castiel is my favorite character, like, ever, and I am a Destiel monoshipper (at least in a sense that they totally outshine any other options these two could have lol)
Some of my other favorite duos/characters: Castiel&Balthazar (we should talk about them more bruh!!!), Castiel&Crowley, Dean&Crowley, Dean&Charlie, Michael&Adam, Dean&Benny, Bobby&Rufus, Bobby&Crowley, Claire&Dean&Castiel, Rowena wherever she exists, she's automatically perfect ๐, whatever people say but I actually liked Mary, exactly because she wasn't perfect; I like Gabriel, and adore Jack and Eileen!!
I do Not like Meg, though, she is a serial sexual assaulter and I think characters like this do not deserve redemption arcs (especially as poorly written as hers); the same goes to Becky and Lucifer. Wincest and all the similar dni as well!!

The most precious thing about dean and cas to me is that I believe they would still be friends if they met outside of the plot. They like each other. They make each other laugh like no one else can. Cas watches old movies and listens to the classic rock and puts on the damn cowboy hat, quoting in a funny voice a movie, just because dean likes it. And dean watches cas simply being his oblivious, sometimes too literal and sarcastic self and he's already the funniest person in the room for him, making him laugh harder than he had in, hell, years. They like each other's personalities and company and it makes their relationship feel so so much more real
What also plays into it is them being each other's type, fitting into the general pattern of people who they get along with: for dean it's these kinda dorky, snarky but strong-willed people, while for cas it's those jokesters, kinda obnoxious people who can appear his exact opposite, but really have a lot of similarities with him. But they're also more, and that's why their relationships are the strongest

P.S. Yes that's the swearing sequence that I myself use, since the beginning rhymes and sounds like a witchy chant.
Do we think that Balthasar would be especially fond of long ass compiled curses in Enochian? I feel like he'd be the type to add in flourish to them, too, out of sheer spite.
Cue Balthasar at one point sitting with Cats in Heaven drinking whatever-liquid-angels-spill-as-TEA, and straight up cussing Dean for like HOURS...
I know we have all moved on but Im still at that crypt with the angel tablet when Cas reached out to heal Dean and Dean didnt know that yet and thought Cas was about to kill him and the way he grabbed Cas arm to stop him and literally whimpered
