I don't know if you're still running this blog, but I just wanted to give you a hug and my heartfelt thanks for recc-ing (is that even a word?) so many great stories. Anyway, I've been sick and kind of bored. Do you know of any feel-good, plotty stories? I'm kind of hitting that wall where I've read way too much fanfic and I don't know what to turn to next...HELP ;_; or I'll just be watching TV re-runs in bed. With an equally runny nose.
First of all, thank you so much. You are my first "ask" to really feel like somebody actually value this tumblr. Therefore, my answere will be a little longer than you expected maybe.
Get better!! Being sick is the worst thing ever. When you get bored of fanfics and internet try watching Once Upon A Time. It's a Tv-series that's on its third season, I'm waiting for some freetime so I can catch up. It's a little blit potty and very very very feel-good.
Since I haven't recced (is this a word?? Idk) for a while but read a LOT of mpreg (and I don't know if you like it or not) I quickly looked in my bookmarks and found these three fics. If you haven't read them please give them a chance.
Wrong Side of Dead - A zombie apocalypse fanfic that was so interesting I re-watched walking dead, all resident evil movies, world war z, dawn of the dead and read two books about zombies before I could return to reading drarry fanfics. So I loved it. I loved how Draco and Harry was portrayed.
Domestic - A fun, feel-good, sometimes angsty, sometimes funny and interesting. I gotta re-read this sometime soon.
The Price of Family - This is an unusual fic. It's heavy and I haven't read the whole thing yet so no spoilers ok?? It's not a feel-good fic but it's the kind that makes you wonder why this person is writing fanfic instead of a book because the writing, the story and the portrayal of the characters is beautiful. Don't be scared by my sucky explanation of the fic (that's why I usually don't write anything) and give this a chance.In fact, I'd like to apply this on all the three fanfics I recc here because that was the first thing I thought I would want to read if I'm sick or bored to death. Really good fanfics or a really good book (recent one I read was the fault in our stars by john green and cried). Check these three out and don't forget to tell me what you thought. Also is there anything else about the tumblr you like/dislike/think can be approved (ex tags or pages or something?!?!). Thank you so much for your praise and appreciation, hopefully you'll feel better soon. And sorry for this long wall of text!
