And so, another Prescott Rally on the books.

The sweet smell of victory. Formal award ceremony out behind the Prescottonian after drinks in the cantina. A long day of racing and service work in the Arizona mountains. Worth it.

Had a good day at service. Rallynotes.com Dodge Neon pushed to third overall, setting wicked fast times with the new engine. Tired and very dusty, but preparing to set NASA Rally Sport blades back at Lamb Nissan for the champagne spray. PS: Pinzgauer showed up at service. So cool.

As the sun crests the distant mountains, Prescott Rally teams start warming up their machines, looking forward to when they'll be cresting those same mountains after breakfast. Some have fared better than others. Missing bumpers, scarred wheels, and plenty of dirt suggest exciting stories. Other casualties such as blown engines and dead gearboxes are not so easy to spot. Did they complete repairs through the night? Will we see them at service? And who will take the podium? Only one way to find out...
