This is actually recent (June 2019). The link itself looks like it goes to ao3, but it’s a scam that’s been pulled many times before. For those of you who are curious about the fic, apparently it’s a Eurovision fanfic with some extremely disturbing content. I have not read it myself and do not plan to.

Falcon and Winter Soldier but there’s an ongoing side-plot that’s just Bucky job-hunting because “I should have a job, Wilson. *decisive nod* I had a job in Wakanda.” “I hate to tell you this but I’m pretty sure there’s no goat farms allowed within the city limits.”

somehow they tend to wind up discussing the results of the job-hunt while they’re fighting bad guys. Bucky will mention having put in a resume, Sam will ask about what exactly is on that resume, or Sam will tell Bucky about an opening he’s heard of

and then at one point one of the bad guys, while being dangled over the edge of a roof, takes pause at the bits of conversation he actually catches and asks, almost sounding offended, “You’re looking for a job? I thought this was your job?”

at which point Bucky and Sam exchange a glance and, “He’s got a point, Barnes,” and a shrug and, “No, I mean a real job.”

Then it’s revealed in one episode that Bucky is now working at Baskin Robbins. This information is never mentioned again.
