Ngl looks kinda like an animal crossing character... Hehehe! I'm kinda proud of how this turned out.
Also ofc I'm gonna add a shameless plug: I do commissions for this type of art! ( lil drawings that can be used as stickers / icons / emojis / tattoos )
I know art can be inaccessible to physically disabled people for a lot of reasons, and I think art should be accessible to everyone, so here’s a couple of the things I found to help for a few different issues you may face that stop you participating!
I have a link to all these items (UK) in my link tree!!

Colorblindness affects about 8% of men and 0.5% of women around the world, with red-green colorblindness being the most common. Around ~13 million people in USAmerica are colorblind.
This is why we& draw in black and white and differentiate with (still readable) fonts and pseudonyms :)
I wanna be clear this isn't about any one blog and it isn't just about color-censoring pseudonyms! For example, I have seen blogs use colored speech bubbles or colored text to denote who's speaking or thinking at a given time with no other indicators. This can be especially confusing when a back and forth exchange occurs, there's no speech at all (symbols and feelings and such), or it's unexpected in context (say, one member's thoughts/feelings start "bleeding through" someone else's speech)
A comment pointed out that a lot of these comics are meant as semi-private diaries. But if your comic is not that, and you mean for it to be read and enjoyed by others (we& do!), consider accessibility!

I've been wondering if we should post vent art, or art that would be considered angst. Most of these posts would be to showcase more of our traditional art!
Of course, they would be tagged correctly, and marked as mature if needed. Vent / Angst art would also be under a cut with a warning at the top if there are very triggering topics mentioned or depicted!
Note that vent would be specific to us, and angst is just generally disturbing art in this case. With all of that stated...

Thank you for your continued patience. We have released a newspost going over the concerns raised by our recent rule wording update. We recommend reading it in full below.
We would also like to sincerely apologize for the delay in releasing the feedback form. We wanted to ensure that the time was taken to carefully review and consider the many factors involved in a rule change of this scale. We want to emphasize that we have heard the community’s feedback and, after extensive internal discussion, are prepared to make adjustments to our rules based on community input. Our goal was to create a form that thoughtfully considers a wide range of perspectives while also remaining realistic within our current moderation capabilities. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and willingness to share their thoughts with us throughout this process.
The feedback form will be open until May 30th, 2026 at 8:00 United States Mountain Time.
Malicious, rude, and/or disrespectful replies toward others will be removed. We welcome feedback and discussion regarding the recent rule update, and we will not remove comments that express dislike for or disagree with the rules. That is perfectly within your rights. All we ask is that you remain respectful and civil.
Our thoughts on the rule about using your own photos and bases
As an artist that struggles with proportions, I find it extremely disrespectful that I can't even use photos of myself to structure poses, or use bases / art I made myself. An example of a "base" I made specifically for myself would be a pose on paper ( which is easier for positioning and proportions ) that's been digitalized. It's still me. It's still my art.
It just seems absurd that I can't use my own paper art to make a base for digital art, let alone a picture of myself, when both mediums are fine regardless. Professional artists are widely known to use both photos ( and in the case of animators, videos ) of themselves and physical drawings to produce digital creations all the time, so why can't we? It's a double standard that needs to be removed.
I was really excited to participate for the first time this year before the announcement, and now I'm wondering if I should even participate at all. The things I do to be able to make most of my drawings aren't allowed by these rules, and I've been drawing for 12 of the 20 years I've lived so far.
I ask you to notice how this rule also discourages new artists, that have learned to use these methods, from joining an event that's supposed to be a fun way for them to practice and hone their skills, as well as just be a part of the art community. What happened to it being a fun community event? What happened to it being a event for all artists regardless of their skill level?
Now tell me, would this be allowed? If not, then that's exactly what I'm talking about.
I'm horrible at proportions and posing, and tend to use the free bases provided on ibispaintX, especially on bad days where my disabilities flare up. I also just generally don't have a good sense of proportions due to my eyesight!
Regardless, even if I were to make my own base on paper, and digitalize and use that in the same way, would it still not be allowed? If so, that's again, exactly what the problem is.
Artists should not be punished for using accessible tools and techniques.
lighthearted tone but please link back to mwy posts if you're making subterms under them, making combos including them, using them in edits/emojis/etc. please. credit is so simple and fast to do just by the link being added
this is a problem i'm noticing not just with mwy terms but most terms, some blogs never link the terms they're using, or credit, or even make any form of reference to it. if im scrolling and see someone post a gender system term for example, then there's no link to a coining post, no mention of a coiner. i often assume they're who made it. but half the time that isn't the case
this makes it really hard to find resources when nothing has links or information. there's a lot of terms i'd love to make but can't when im unable to find the original. sometimes posts are lost, sometimes people deactivate or get deleted before they're archived. there's not as much we can do about those issues, but all the blogs that are easily there? why do so many posts not mention them? it's a little frustrating
there are some very popular terms those are often easy to find or by default the coiners are known. but /a lot/ of terms don't have that level of memory yet. especially when there's an endless number of them 💔 - the moonlit jellyfish
This should go as a no-brainer for ALL coiners! We recently coined the x symbol term "[x]⛈️ ( x thunstorm / x thunderstorm )" so if anyone makes flags under this, be sure to link the coining post. ( Also we'd love to be tagged to see y'all's creations! )
Ngl I realized we haven't been doing this, so it also reminded me to fix that. Anyways, happy coining! ✨

Like / Reblog it if you want! We don't mind too much on being directly credited or anything since our flags are for everyone! ...as long as no one claims that they made it.
