A new phrase has been birthed in the past two days which is called ‘alternative facts,’ which has come from the white house.    When they think that something is a lie, they’ve just started to call it ‘alternative facts,’ so it couldn’t be more relevant that there are people that will absolutely with total confidence deny that um terrible atrocities and terrible racism, homophobia, misogyny even exists publicly, and a person who does that has been elected to the highest office, and so the film could not be more prescient in that sense because we’ve got to defend it, we’ve got…every single citizen I think has a responsibility to say ‘no no no, we’ve got to hold onto the truth,’ because if we don’t hold onto the truth, that’s where madness lies. - Andrew Scott 1/23/17
