Going to be cutting back my gym sessions for now. Will lift 3 days a week, with the days in between solely for cardio. At least until I can get a 2nd opinion on my spine.

Feeling quite bummed today. Had my follow up with the surgeon. Turns out I am going to need surgery on the disk in my back. Talking about complete removal of the disk. The doctor said it is "Impressively bad". No heavy lifting and no bending over that puts stress on the lower back. I am going to schedule an appointment for a 2nd opinion, but not feeling very hopeful at the moment.

2nd week of no gym for me. I had my ESI procedure done last week and so far doesn't seem to have helped any at all. It has been 5 days now and was hoping to see some relief by now. Maybe in a few more days things will get better.
