Sometime later that evening, Mordecai greets his man at the door to their apartment (or whereever Mordecai happens to live, I just think an apartment would make the most sense for him), and immediately notices how clearly upset he is. There's no strained grin or tired laugh as an attempt to cover it up, he is just upset, and it honestly catches the tuxedo a bit off-guard.

The moment the door is open, Rocky immediately collapses into Mordecai's chest, silently weeping as they embrace each other.

The two of them stand there at the door for several minutes until Rocky is eventually calm enough for them to have a sit down on the sofa and talk about what's wrong.

And so, Rocky spends the next thirty minutes to an hour just venting about whatever it was that finally got him to his breaking point as Mordecai mostly just listens, occaisionally providing comfort and support through his own words.

Rocky's day more or less ends after that point as he's simply too worn the fuck out to do anything but spend another hour or so staring blankly at the ceiling bofore eventually passing out for the night.
