How the boys would react realizing they have a major crush on you/asking you out.
•Raph would be a little freaked out at first - I know, weird right? Such a headstrong confident guy like him freaked out by a crush?
•Raph is insecure about the way he looks, and fears rejection more than anything… especially from you.
•Would give you subtle hints such as exchanging his normal elbow nudge into gently pushing a piece of hair from your face
•No more sassy smirking, replaces it with a genuine smile your way
•Offers to help you with anything just to be closer to you. I mean anything.
-Your place is a mess? He’ll help you clean.
-You see a spider in your place? He’s on his way to rescue you
-You can’t decide which movie to watch? He’ll come help you decide
•Instead of cocky statements and pick up lines, he’ll say something like
-“You look really amazing today, Y/N”
-“I really like that color on you”
•He will become super protective of you and at times possessive.
-If Leo laughs at a joke you made, oh boy. Watch out, the jealousy train has left the station.
•He refuses to let you leave the lair unaccompanied after dark.
-No way in hell he’s letting the person of his dreams walk alone at night.
•Constantly brings up the topic of relationships, just to make sure you’re still single
-his worst fear is finding out you have a partner that is NOT him
•When he finally does get the courage to ask you out, it’s not as smooth as he would’ve wanted it to be and he would ask you over text or phone call. Being rejected over the phone is much easier for both of you, especially knowing raph’s temper. Instead of asking you directly and clearly, it might sound more like
-”Uh, hi Y/N. It’s me, Raph. Uh… I think yer cool… well cooler than cool yer great. Uhh I’d like to eat food with you or something or maybe watch a movie and then hang out all the time like a couple… er whatever you want to call it I don’t want to force anything but if that sounds ok then ya know. Call me…”
-He’d be totally pissed at himself for blabbering like an idiot and probably give himself countless muscle strains from excessively lifting weights in order to forget his awful attempt at asking you out.
-But don’t worry, he’ll forget all about it as soon as you say yes ;) and by then he’d be backflipping all over the lair bragging to his brothers about his new partner and how smooth he was.
•Leo would know very early on about his crush, and would have a detailed, organized plan on how to ask you out.
•First, he’d try to get you alone with him as much as possible. Whether it’s watching a movie together or inviting you over when he trains. He pays close attention to your emotions and words, that way he can see if the feelings are mutual. Once he’s confirmed it’s so, his plan will begin.
•Leo is a gift giver, he loves giving you homemade gifts or something meaningful to the both of you. Get ready to receive lots of bonsai trees. He’ll want to show you exactly how to care for them, gets extra excited when he shows you how to trim the leaves. This is when he’ll place his hand over yours and show you how to do it.
•Leo is not afraid of showing you how he feels. He will shower you in compliments.
-“You are stunning, Y/N.”
-“I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to know someone as amazing as you,”
•He isn’t afraid of PDA. He will gently grab your hand in front of his brothers, or subtly place his hand on your waist.
•When he finally does ask you out, it will be very romantic. He’ll invite you over when he knows his brothers won’t be there. He’ll cook you dinner or put in your favorite movie. He knows exactly what to say, and it will probably sound similar to:
-”Y/N, we’ve known each other for a little while now and every time I see you it feels like Christmas. You are everything I would ever want in a partner and if I’m not mistaken I feel like we go along really well together. It would mean the world to me if you would be mine, and I yours.”
•He’d be over the moon when you say yes, but is very gentle with the way he shows it. He’s not the one to brag to his brothers, but he would make it known that you two are an item by giving you a soft peck on the lips when he knows they’re watching. That way they know you are off limits.
•Mikey is a flaming ball of energy and fun. It wouldn’t take long for you to realize he’s got it bad for you.
•He would make it well known to everyone that he’s head over heels for you.

•Lots of winks, air kisses, and eyebrow wiggles in your direction.
•Mikey doesn’t really plan for things, he just goes with the flow. So instead of planning the exact day and time he’ll ask you out, he’ll surprise you one day when a burst of adrenaline tells him it’s go time.
-”Hey, hey Y/N, so since we’re both super hot and dingle we should be super hot together. Cause you and I? Were like peanut butter and jelly. Strawberries and chocolate. You’re the cheese to my pizza!
•He’d definitely boast to his brothers when you say yes. Lots of:
-”Oh hey bros, don’t mind me. Just going to see my super awesome partner”
-”Huh? Sorry what was that Leo? I couldn’t hear you cause I’m talking to Y/N, ya know Y/N, my partner who I date now and kiss and stuff? Yeah that Y/N”
•Donnie’s middle name is probably social anxiety. He has no idea how to approach you. All he knows is if he doesn’t say anything soon, he could lose you to another… and that is NOT in his calculations.
•Lots of research, like the classic “How to ask someone out for dummies”. Read lots of magazines labeled “How to impress that special someone” or “10 ways to plan the perfect first date.
•Definitely confides in Splinter about his new found feelings and DEFINITELY practices asking you out in front of his brothers, mainly Leo.
•Studies you very closely in order to find out your interests. Favorite color? He’s got that down. Favorite food? He’s already looking up recipes. Favorite band? He just streamed all their albums. He wants to impress you,
• When he does ask you out, he doesn’t make a huge deal about it. He doesn’t want to overwhelm you. Instead he will invite you over and take you into a quiet area away from his brothers.
-He will stare at his feet the entire time and fidget with his fingers.
-It takes him a while to ask, but when he does it’s very shy.
-”I uh, I think you’re amazing and even though there’s a 69% chance of rejection, that still leaves a 31% chance you will say yes and I will take those odds. Anyways, I would like to possibly accompany you on a date of your choice if that sounds like something you would enjoy”
•Super giddy when you say yes. Lots of babbling about all the articles he read and is super excited to show you all his ideas for dates and what not.
•Not much of a bragger, but will for sure seek assistance from his brothers on what to say, how to act and how to impress you. CONSENT! This lovable nerd will still ask you if he can hold your hand years into the relationship.
•You’re the highlight of his day, and he will make you feel like the most cared for person in the world when you’re around him.
