I did trivia night with my coworkers this week. We were in second place before the final question, which was "Which film directed by Martin Scorsese is the only sequel that he has directed?"

I had a vague memory of reading about The Color of Money in Entertainment Weekly 25 years ago, but I really wasn't sure if that was a Scorsese film. But I did bring it up to my coworkers. I should have been more confident, because we ended up saying Wall Street II, and shockingly, that wasn't correct.

Anyway, I'm still acknowledged to be the trivia MVP, and whatever hunches I have next time are going to be taken as a sure bet.

I'm truly amazed by Andrew's ability to trim the Smidgen's nails without any assistance. This is a cat who wriggles aggressively whenever the vet techs try to handle him, but look at how docile and compliant he is for my husband:

I booked a water taxi trip for me and Andrew. Not because I want to go to National Harbor, but because we need to figure out if Andrew can actually handle short boat rides. I want to take a trip to Seattle/Puget Sound, but first I need to know how prone to seasickness my husband actually is, because my ideal trip there would involve a lot of ferries.

Success! We took a boat across the river and back, and Andrew didn't get sick. We are definitely gonna take a ferry to Orcas Island now.
