I seem to enjoy punishing myself. I make myself pay for the sins I don't remember committing. I pay for everyone's sins, it seems. I sit still, as my own mind declares war against me. I stand still, frozen, as I see my world collapsing right in front of my eyes. I can't draw them shut. This is my mind's way of making myself suffer. I look at the disaster on my skin, as it floods out every reason of my being. I try to breathe, as the wind grabs me by my throat. I try to escape, but as always, I don't, because I seem to enjoy punishing myself.
