I received this product complementary from Influenster for testing purposes. I wore this product for the first time this past weekend when I attended a friend's wedding as a guest. It was a fancy wedding and I wanted to make sure I looked polished and glam. This sure did the trick! I had a blemish and a couple pimples that morning (argh! of coarse!) BUT THIS MAKEUP COVERED THEM PLUS MADE MY SKIN LOOK RADIANT! It did not cake, it did not rub off (for I was at the wedding, then break, then reception. I got ready at noon and this baby lasted me till it ended at 11PM throughout dancing my butt off!). It made my skin look flawless. It really is super light weight and not oily. I have combo skin with a tendency of dry spots. I also got it in True Beige and it matched my skin perfectly. It is very easy to apply and blend into your skin. I highly recommend getting this product if you want to look sexy and flawless!

Amber Blush = My Go-To Fragrance for Fall/Winter! Beautiful Day = My Go-To Fragrance for Spring/Summer!

I was a dedicated Dark Kiss junkie. I was devastated when they made it an online exclusive (I loved smelling it EVERY time I went into the store, it was such a feel-good fragrance). I absolutely loved wearing it for Fall/Winter. Now that I have a stock pile of it (that is still limited in my opinion since it WILL eventually die down :( ), I am picky when it comes to scents that I can say is ME. I'm not picky on what I wear at all, but when it comes to saying "This is ME", that is where I am picky.

Amber Blush is a beautiful scent. It is sexy yet nice and warm and a bit heavier for Fall/Winter. It really brings me to walking in the woods with leaves crunching under your feet then going home to change into your PJ and cuddle up with a nice fleece blanket with my pup. It is feminine yet brings you to a lovely chilly day. B&BW did an amazing job with this scent. A++++++

Beautiful Day is also a ME scent come Spring/Summer. I like to put away heavier scents come these months since I view them as lighter months which are in need for a lighter scent. Don't get me wrong, I'd bust out BD in the middle of winter if I felt like I wanted to, I don't limit it to just THESE seasons only. But, I tend to wear it more frequently these seasons vs. winter. Beautiful Day is exactly what its name implies, a Beautiful Day. It is so fresh and crisp and clean. My favorite note in this scent is the green apple. A MUST! B&BW did an amazing job with this scent as well! A++++++++ B&BW in my opinion was really lacking in scents since the change over in ownership. I felt like a lot of scents were repackaged or medicore. But, they REALLY made it up with these two beautiful scents. I have smelled the new Forever Midnight scheduled to release soon and it is DIVINE. It smelled heavily of floral on me at first but then it dried down to a beautiful scent. I can't wait to try the lotion! I hope to review more fragrances in the near future. :)

Bath and Body Works Review - 7/13/12

Finally made it to a store! LLL is okay. Very light, and it's been about 45 minutes and I can no longer smell it. Smelling the lotion out of the bottle it smelled terrible but I used the EDT and shimmer mist combined in the try me bottles. Again, it's okay. Not a wow factor. The Wild Garden Collection was a wow factor. I wish they were permanent over LLL. I tried the 3 new Paris scents. I was SO excited to try them after hearing about how yummy SOP was, how PIB was comparable to Sweet Pea, and how Paris Nights was comparable to Dark Kiss ( which I LOVE DK!). I was highly disappointed in Paris Nights. One whiff and I had to put the cover of the bottle back on. Way. Too. Perfumey/Strong. Nothing like DK. I passed on even considering that scent. It's too bad because I was so excited to try it, the packaging is adorable, and I just wanted to love it but I didn't. Paris Bloom was OK. MUCH stronger than Sweet Pea. I was not sure if I liked it so I piled up a bottle to just try and see which way it grows on me because it is one of those iffy scents where I'm not sure yet if I like or not. This is why I LOVE $1 previews. It go gives you a chance to experiment with scents before buying full sizes. B&BW ***SHOULD*** do this with ****EVERY*** new launching scent but they don't. Hence I don't think I will give LLL a try because I don't want to go through the hassle of getting bigger sizes and then not liking it and needing to do an exchange/return. I hate doing those because then they make you fill out all your info and I don't want to look like I'm returning a bunch of items. Not my cup of tea. I'll only exchange/return if I really need to. Anyways, finally to Sweet on Paris is more like LOVE AT FIRST WHIFF. It smells SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!! I could bathe in this stuff everyday for the rest of my life. I love how sweet (and not sickly sweet) it smells! It is Devine and perfect. I can't wait for full sizes (and hoping there is a B3G3 during the launch of this collection) because I want to get Sweet on Paris items before they take away that scent on me too (still sad about ITW). I can't stop smelling that bottle! Kudos B&BW on Sweet on Paris!!! I hope you make that one stay around as permanent (as I dream about Wild Collection becoming permanent and the return of ITW to stores) and you would make this girl one happy B&BW addict. I hope Rey pass on the suggestion of 2 oz previews for all launching scents as well PLEASE. :) My store still has SAS items out including 75% shower gels, WG collection lotions, Men's Classic, lip glosses, flower shop candles (the pink one I forgot scent), mini candles (jungle kiss), pocket bac holders, and all sizes of candle holders. :D Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to give my feedback! :)

Hello Summer! 05.24.11

Well Spring classes have officially ended! I took my last final yesterday morning. I am waiting on one more grade but so far I have passed all of my classes! Woohoo! :) Break for a week and a half then back to school for orgo this summer.

Happy October!

WOW did September go by quick! It feels like it was Sept. 7th only a few days ago and I was starting my 4th year of school (and I'll prob. be there another 2-3 yrs..... -_-). 2 and a half months left of classes!? I need to get my butt moving (even though I've been crazy busy with homework as it is!). I already have a midterm coming up in a few weeks that means... EEK!

Well Fall should be approaching faster now! I absolutely love the Fall time. The change of leaves (especially on the Mohawk Trail... would LOVE to go back there one day...), the crisp in the air, hoodies and jeans, &pumpkins and apples (especially apple crisp and pumpkin cupcakes I'm dying to bake). I all around LOVE Fall! I hate summer heat, I hate the New England winters and snow, and I hate the constant rain and mix between extremely freezing and semi-warm days in the spring. Fall is definitely my season! Now that I am thinking of apple crisp and pumpkin cupcakes I am getting even a larger urge to make them....

Profile Rock is also beautiful in the Fall and a destination I want to make it to when the leaves are changing. It's this huge rock you climb that symbolizes this indian guy's face I believe.... and you climb it and you can see 3 surrounding towns. You are higher than the trees! I've been climbing it since I was a kid but haven't in a few years. I want to climb it again this Fall and take a beautiful picture standing on top once the leaves begin to change.

Now that it is October the holidays are going to be coming at us fast. Pretty soon, if we haven't seen it already, stores will be bringing out their Christmas decorations and advertisements before Halloween (what happened to Black Friday being a Christmas marker? We only had to deal with it for one month.... now it's 3+ months! Sometimes we get ads in July!) I tend to avoid ALL Christmas-related things until on or around Thanksgiving when I watch the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Before that I'd like to enjoy my Fall thank you. :)

Well I'm off to eat some Greek Pizza (put together by Trucchi's and you cook it at home). Fridays are 'Pizza Fridays' and you can get pizzas for between $4-5 (better than buying them at a chain!) so we picked up two yesterday (Greek and Pepperoni are the best!). I haven't ate since yesterday around 3PM so I'm starving!

Friday Morning

Well it's been 30 minutes and this professor in Organic Chemistry has failed to teach anything. He just keeps playing on his computer. This is a 50 minute class. Really would love to leave.... TGIF!!!! Oh and I tried the Oatmeal Smoothies this morning I've been wanting to try for weeks since I saw FrugalGirl post about them. They are pretty good. Not gross but not delicious. I substituted strawberries for raspberries and Greek yogurt for plain regular yogurt. Well it's pretty ironic I was just talking about needing to "get on it" for looking for a boot deal. Well, I got the opportunity to look in this boutique/consignment shop and didn't find any boots but found a pair of adorable high heels for Fall for......$6!!! Oh man do they look absolutely amazing on! I love finding a sweet deal especially on shoes that are expensive but someone decides to get rid of them brand new and I get them for... um..... 90% considerably less! SCORE! <3

It know it's not free, but it was pretty darn close to free! <3 WAY better than paying the $60 price tag! :D

So I absolutely love Thursdays. It's almost the weekend, I only have one class (and it's my favorite one, physiology!), and it's just pretty much of a great day to catch up on homework.

Got blood work done today and talked about drawing blood from patients with the lady since I need to draw blood successfully before I can graduate. I am super nervous about it. I need to grow some confidence.

Saw my grandmother today. Uhhh.... Yeah. Next.....

I am super in love with boots right now. I am dying for a pair of riding boots. I need to get on that and find a good deal. I've been looking for months!

Speaking of deals, I may turn this blog into a daily ramble/my deal finds. Couponing is a very fun hobby for me. I've learned a lot over the past year and I continue to get better and better. My best find was about $30 of stuff for free. So I'll probably post some pictures of my finds, the price I would have paid w/o coupons, price I paid with coupons, and brag about how jealous you all should be. Haha, but really. I love couponing and I am not a crazy lady like those on 'Extreme Couponing'. I respect others want to find a deal too and I won't wipe any shelfs or stock pile on cereals I will not eat before the exp. date.

So this blog should be interesting. It's more like a work in progress. We'll see where I go with it!

Well, homework time. My Rhetorical Studies and Literary Studies papers are calling my name.

I totally forgot about this post on my xanga. This is so refreshing and I think it deserves to be reposted here! I posted this on Feb. 10, 2008:

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them; you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most touching and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.

Decided to give tumblr a second shot. I've been in the blogging mood lately. My first post was when I was 19?! Holy crap. Hellllllloooooo 21! :D Xanga is old news. Ancient history, maybe?

I've got so much homework to do but absolutely no motivation to do it because I am tired. Maybe if I had a laptop and could do homework in bed. I just don't feel like sitting at this desktop. Blah.
