Appreciate The Twins

I don’t want to hear anyone complaining about how long of a break the twins choose to take.

If they decide to take a year off, we’re going to fucking respect that and let them take a year off.

If they decide to only skip a couple weeks, no one needs to tell them they moved on too fast or they shouldn’t be posting.

I hope I’m speaking for everybody when I say I want them to take as long as they need.  This isn’t a little thing that happened.  The twins probably won’t seem like themselves for a while and honestly things will probably never be exactly like they were before, understandably so. 

I really don’t want to see anyone in this fandom telling Ethan and Grayson that they aren’t acting like themselves or rushing them to start posting again.            These boys have done so much for us and been such a source of joy and light for so many people in dark times, including myself.  The least we can do is be here for them and respect whatever decisions they choose to make going forward. 

I’ve seen so much disrespect in this fandom over the past 24 hours, both on here and various other social medias, and it’s truly saddening.  I’ve seen so many things that I’m worried about the twins coming across because they really do not need any extra stress right now.  Please be mindful of the things you say and post especially at this point in time.  Even if you have good intentions, things such as edits might be a bit too much for them right now.

I don’t know the Dolan family personally, but I think through the things they’ve posted and shared with us it’s obvious that they are an incredible family.  It breaks my heart to know that such a kind family is having to endure this.  I love Ethan and Grayson and I pray they have guidance and strength through this time along with the rest of their family and friends. 

they DESERVE the respect and privacy and whatever else they want during this time.

I pray that the fans I’ve seen publicly showing desire to go, change their minds and realize it’s a tasteless thing to do. This isn’t a chance to meet them. They lost their father. Please let them just be normal young men and lean on their family. None of what happened to Sean is really any of our business. That’s just a fact.
