alright well now that i'm approaching 11k and still a ways away from finishing the particular chunk of story i'm trying to tell, this probably will get split into 2 chapters...

sometimes i get hung up on whether i've spent enough time on logistics in fic, like have i created a scenario where the stakes are high and it means something, its rooted in believable context. and then i remember that during the whole "yamato impersonates sasori to meet kabuto" scene, after a multi-page tense discussion about how well they'll be able to sell the deceit, the extent of team 7's stealth is to crouch. behind some bushes. like 20 feet away

There’s a hot pot scene in chapter 22 of RRD and because I am an author who is DEDICATED!!!!!!! to authenticity in my writing, I went and got hot pot yesterday in order to make sure I could capture the moment truthfully, and definitely not just because writing about hot pot made me want hot pot.
