Rocky was the engineer of the Hail Mary, but he was originally selected for the mission.

Human! Adrian was sent into the blood ocean to study whatever life forms have started to develop down there. This might've been taken from Grace's backstories in regular swap aus.

Also, human Adrian is still large. At least over six foot five.
