My poor animal loving sister is about to watch Obsession. I love that movie, but my dad is watching it with my stepmom and stepsister, and I think they're all in for a bad time.

My stepmom doesn't really like supernatural movies, my stepsister, who like I mentioned is an animal lover, and also hates depressing movies, and I dragged my dad to see it with me (hey, he said I could pick whatever I wanted to see,) and he said he hated it. They like movies like The Housemaid or Send Help. Yeah, it's dark, but there's at least moments of hope and a somewhat happy ending.

It's so weird, because I absolutely love this movie, but I also want to caution them. Cause I know this particular group. I've watched dark and depressing movies with them, and they hated them. Especially Obsession, which has a very unambiguous rape scene.
