I don't know. Maybe because THE major hang up for her and THE trigger to her path to development ENTIRELY INVOLVES her dad. She is fearful that she's losing her family or that it was a lie all this time and she's both confused and resentful for her dad for doing what he's doing. Plus she's a SUPPORTING character for a reason. Maybe one that you're drawn to. But this take of yours could be applied to almost every character on the show and listening to you would just prevent the story from progressing.
Plus have we forgotten that Stolas is in a loveless toxic ARRANGED marriage with a prejudiced elitist classist who hired a supremacist psycho hitman to KILL him? You people act like Stolas had a perfectly good married life until he saw Blitzo's onlyfans. I don't know about the leaks or what's in store for the rest of season 2. But from what we know now, it's NOT choosing Blitzø over Octavia. It's choosing not to live a toxic lie that in the long run HARMS Octavia more than what he's doing now.
How about instead of being forced to choose to sympathize with either or, we root for them both to build a better father-daughter relationship, however long it may take.
