Here is a short animation I did of my furby carousel horse project I made a while back! I have been working on a bunch of projects I can't wait to share. The biggest mystery to me for Symphanee Midnight was how the skull was embedded into the clear head while being able to have rooted hair, since Ghouls Alive and SDCC Robecca required separate scalps for their respective gimmicks.

It turns out that her face is just hollow vinyl, while her skull is a slightly stiffer but pliable vinyl, and the connection is purely glued behind the rooted hairline. Then the hair is rooted through both the skull and clear face and is treated like a regular Monster High head.

Surprisingly the skull is only glued behind the hair line, not at the neck or at other point which means you could slide stuff between the two layers if you can finesse it through the neck hole.

This really helped solved a lot of questions for me since I was too afraid to check out how the head would even come off and if I wanted to reroot her, but knowing it's able to be treated as a regular Monster High head helps a lot.

Unfortunately, since the skull itself has a lip to align with the clear face portion, you can't really have a full skeleton Monster High doll with that in the way.
