there's always a mystery to radio,
and I still feel like it's there. When I tune in, I'm still curious, especially when it comes to AM radio. I wonder what these people look like. I wonder if they still use typewriters, drink coffee, smoke cigarettes. I wonder what this world looks like, feels like, and smells like. And the same goes for FM radio, i wonder what kind of lives these people live. And so TV, essentially, you see what people look like and you can kind of envision what their lives must be like, whereas radio is just the voice, there's mystery, and there's also a mystery what made the DJ play this song from this record. So there's still mystery. I also feel like the internet is mystery also, because we have a lot of podcasts, a lot of people who remind me of what radio used to be, what college radio used to be, where people break the rules - Anthony Valadez
