• ok so !! minah !! personification of nike !!

• she was born in seoul, to a family of doctors ( a neurosurgeon and a pediatrician, tho she’s not rly good with other medical terms ) so pretty much all of her childhood was spent in a luxurious Gangnam apartment with marble floors and floor length windows and sculptures … some of which she may have broken but !! beside the point !!

• her parents do try to make her interested in medicine from a very young age but she just .. straight up refuses? there’s literally nothing she finds interesting in medicine and she just can’t imagine herself being stuck doing smth so boring so shes just like :)) no :))

• one day, her parents put on some tv to keep her distracted while they go over some patient files and !! the olympics are on !! she catches the ending ceremony, just in time to see them announcing the winner and .. the cheers in the background are muffled, but to her it seems like they’re echoing inside her head and it’s enough to make her realize that !! this is what she wants in life !!

• so she makes her parents enroll her in a gymnastics class – the best one they can find, obviously, bc they won’t settle for anything less. she’s a natural, her instructor tells her parents as they stand to the side, a couple of months into her training. she simply soars. if she keeps this up, she’s def got a future here

• and he says the same thing as she gets her first olympic medal :)

• victory is smth like a drug to her by that point ?? she craves the recognition and the admiration like oxygen, and not just in sports ! she strives for perfection in anything she sets her mind to. school ? she had the grades to get into one of the top universities in korea. sports? she’s one of the top athletes in the country.

• but ?? it’s not enough and lbr it won’t ever be enough

• her parents don’t know obviously. if they knew that their precious lil baby was out there at night, racing through the streets of ilsan, they’d go mental. she can’t help it! it’s the adrenaline that draws her in every time, the rush in her veins whenever she reaches the finish line first and she would literally die without it. well. not literally, but you know.

• long story short .. she can be the sweetest girl you can think of – that is, until you see her at night, in the highest heels she owns, lips painted crimson red and downing tequila shots like it’s nobody’s business !

• but then she also likes fluffy slippers and she has a rilakkuma onesie and hot chocolate with marshmallows is her jam

• highly competitive !!! like super super super competitive !! competitive and over achieving jnefwe what a combo !

• has a super fucked up sleep schedule so catch her out n about at like 3am ?? she likes stargazing and waiting for the sun to rise, it’s one of her fav things to do

• she will not take your shit bkjgbw if you piss her off i guarantee you’ll know it in the span of like … three seconds

• loves doggos !! send her pics of ur doggo !! she will love u for it !!
