Divine child

♔┊ He’s been sat on the couch of the home he seems to have to himself, for now, simply enjoying the sounds from outside as he fiddles with the “Beeper” he had. It wasn’t hard for him to figure out, after what has happened before, but it was still quite different and unique, but he liked it. He did ponder a few things though, like if he would have a roommate soon or if this place had anything special about it ... He’d have to explore and learn the inner workings of Eternal.

♔┊ He got up to his feet, but just as he was about to head for the door it opened on it’s own. A rather confused looking man walking in, Kamui watching him and noting everything about him very quickly before smiling widely, this must be one of his roommates !!

Gah, sun. Bright. It didn’t help that CV arrived during the nighttime. He was so used to the darkness of the Ethereal…

CV hovered a hand over his eyes to block out the sunlight; a warm greeting to a new world… A new world in the Corporeal Realm… No Hypersphere, no nothing… Just a place known as Eternal Isles… Islands in the sky that hold various people; the natives… And newcomers like himself.

And he felt weak. His paddle is smaller than usual and his body… His body couldn’t generate any extra Rhythmic Energy no matter how many times he hummed a song. HYPER…. He will be at only HYPER for a while.

But this is a new life. A second chance granted to him. It doesn’t matter that he is weakened for now; he is happy to be granted this.

But enough thinking about himself, there is someone approaching him. CV waved a hand hello and smiled.

“Hi there! Oh yeah, I’m new here as well. I’m still getting my bearings and all.”

♔┊ So this gentleman was also new ... That brought a smile to Kamui’s face. He wasn’t alone in this strange new world. It was certainly quiet though and he appreciated such a thing, he could relax easily here. He was curious about the stranger in front of him though. Does he possibly know how they ended up here ... ? Or was he just as in the dark as Kamui himself was ?

      ❛ It’s good to get your bearings ~ It’s pretty strange ... Do you have any ideas how we have ended up here ? I’m still pretty confused so maybe it’s best not to question it so soon ... ❜

♔┊ He was thinking it over a bit to himself and maybe he really shouldn’t question it, afterall the doctors had told him there could be many reasons as to how he ended up here so he doubted the other had any sort of answer to such a thing, but there was no harm in asking right ? Maybe they could keep talking and possibly find a place to eat since kamui was rather hungry after being guided to his new housing.

♔┊ What ... is going on ? Where is he now ... ? He is confused and still trying to comprehend everything that happened, but it seems he is somewhere different and alone, which he isn’t excited about. Eternal isles ... It sounds gentle and safe, but he refuses to think anywhere that steals you away from your own world would be so simple, so kind, but he shouldn’t be quick to judge. It was unlike him to be so rash but from one world to another and still not even returning to his own world, he wasn’t happy to be away from all of his loved ones.

♔┊ Maybe he should try to talk to some of the residents who ended up here similar to him. There weren’t many people here, so it wasn’t hard to approach one of the few he remembers seeing wake up here like him with a smile on his face.

     SHE FLINCHED AS HE DREW NEAR, stepping back cautiously even as this dragon appeared to be friendly. while part of her was wary, and quite frankly, intimidated, another part of her didn’t think he’d be so kind- let along talk back to her. this world was strange and it’s inhabitants? even stranger. 

     “i usually go off to places on my own.” she explains matter-of-factly, knowing that it’s not strange to be on your own but now felt she was under scrutiny for being all the way out here. in truth, she just liked the cover the bamboo had over her. it was familiar, in many ways. 

     “my name is isuzu. or, rin. what are you doing out here kamui? do you live in this grove?” 

♔┊ Does he live out here ? Oh, he couldn’t help but laugh a bit, though he could imagine a bigger much more majestic dragon living out here and maybe eating the bamboo so it doesn’t grow out of control, but that was just a momentary thought. He shook his head no as his tail wagged in a manner you may imagine a dogs when they are excited. He always enjoyed company even if he had gone all the way out here to have some privacy, in the end, company was always nice.

❛ Nope, I live back in the Fibonnaci ward, Townhouse 109 ! It must be funny to think of a dragon living in a house with others but I do actually have a human form ! ❜

♔┊ He wasn’t shy to confess that, a light shining as he shrunk away, his horns disappearing slowly and his tail retracting in before his scales gave way for armor and his claws formed into hands and soft flesh and soon his white hair and face morphed back and he shook his hair, looking at the girl now with his human form, a warm smile on his face as he looked her over a few times

     alone in the bamboo forest reminded her of home. well, parts of it. even if she didn’t enjoy living in the main house, she did like to explore the forests on their grounds, escaping the chaos that came with living on the property. like a calm wave washing over her, rin continued down her path, lost in her thoughts, alone with her feelings. that shortly changed when she felt a presence nearby. her calm demeanor shifted as she went to investigate and eventually, came across the source. 

     a dragon. a real dragon- not like hatori-nii in any way or shape. 

     rin froze when she was caught and even more so when the dragon talked to her. it was a beautiful, majestic creature. had she encroached upon its space? slowly, she lowered her head, respectfully averting her gaze. 

     “i didn’t mean to interrupt you. i’ll be going then.” 

♔┊ Kamui was a bit surprised to say the least, He knew others did come to the bamboo forest but he did think he was rather deep into the forest ... maybe he wasn’t as deep as he thought he was. It made no difference to him though ! He had no problem with people seeing this form of his, it actually made him rather happy since this felt like who he was truly. Though it seems the other seemed to think that she somehow insulted him or bother him, which was untrue ! He was curious honestly, and came a bit closer slowly, as to try to show he was not going to harm her in any way.

❛ It’s alright ! I don’t mind company, it’s pretty quiet all the way out here anyways, and it’d be pretty rude of me to make you leave if you already made your way all the way out here miss ! ❜

♔┊ He tried to be friendly, which wasn’t hard at all for him but he could imagine it was a bit indimidating or startling to come across a dragon so readily in this forest, especially since there have been many creatures in Spirale that have been rather hostile if you approached them.

     Apple green eyes watched as the silver haired individual passed by, following after him out of curiosity. Such curiosities born out of noticing the other’s ears! Afterall, they were pointed like an Elf’s ears would be. Foggy memories recalled the elves from home, but seeing one in person; He couldn’t help but wonder if they were from his home? Granted, he heard that what elves were left had either left on the comet with the angels, or lived in a sealed off society.

     Emil, while mindlessly following, tripped over his own feet, giving off a surprised sound on the impact. He could almost hear the chiding from his other self for being so pathetic.

♔┊ Kamui was used to people around him staring or speaking to him about his appearance in this place. In his own world for some reason, despite he was the only one like this, it was never a subject of question but here in Spirale many people called him lots of different things, Elf was a popular one though he always explained that he was not an elf ! In fact, he doesn’t even know what an elf is ... or at least he didn’t know until recently with the Fantasia world showing him why people mistook him for an elf sometimes.

♔┊ It seems today was similar, he hadn’t noticed the other tailing him until he had tripped and fallen, causing a surprised reaction from kamui as well since he heard the other collide with the ground. He quickly turned around to try to make sure the other was okay.

⚠️ a text meant for someone else.

“So it was normal for you to be weird? Okay…” Byleth said, worrying further about that boy’s upbringing. He looked like the quiet and polite type, if you looked up reserved in the dictionary there would be a black and white image of his monochrome, and monotoned expression. Yet, he could be rather rude when he wanted to be. It was just he did not often speak his feelings.

He was a little bit stunned about how the colorless man in front of him could speak with such emotion in his voice. He was almost pure. People called Byleth pure sometimes but they were wrong, Byleth knew he was soaked in ash, dirty. 

Byleth suddenly took the cloak off of his back. For someone who was as still as a living corpse it was a shocking amount of movement, as he swept it aside and then knelt down in front of Kamui. “Get on.”

That way neither of their feet would have to touch the ground. He could step back into his boots, and by carrying Kamui he could get home without touching the ground once. Though, Byleth did not explain any of that he expected Kamui to get it with a look. “People can’t live all on their own, they need someone to carry them sometimes…” He had switched into full teacher mode, no wonder he was such a chatterbox. 

♔┊ Normal to be weird ? This man certainly didn’t hold his tongue at all and it was a bit surprising to kamui, he used to be talked to as if he was higher then others due to his role as a prince -- or king in this case but he didn’t have that here ... even though he’d been here for so long he’s still not super use to it. Never the less he wasn’t going to berate the man in front of him or get mad, he just thought it was kinda funny. Though the next thing did shock him a bit. The other was ... offering to carry him ? This stranger really was strange.

♔┊ Kamui quickly put his hands up to wave that it was okay, he was not the fondest of being carried honestly ! He liked to have his feet planted firmly on the ground unless it was his own choice to ascend to the air with his wings, and nevertheless allowing a stranger to carry him ... he had some hesitations.
