Dandelion and dragonfly hair comb, ca 1904 by Louis C. Comfort. The dragonflies' bodies are gold and they are set with black opals, pink opals and demantoid garnets. On top of each of their heads is a tiny ruby. The dandelion puff balls are dotted with white enamel.
Close up image showing a bejeweled dragonfly sitting on a dandelion seed head that is mostly blown away.

1930 c. Perfume bottle in the Duncan model crafted by Rene Lalique for collection, inspired by Isadora Duncan. From Art Deco Around the Globe, FB.
Turquoise acorn and oak leaf tiara, made in the mid-1800s, possibly as a bridal tiara. Geoffrey C. Munn, author of several books on tiaras, said about this one, "The turquoise represents true love and the oak fortitude and strength. The empty acorn cup may stand for the loss that inevitably follows love."
Antique, circa 1880-1910, 18K yellow gold and silver handmade dragonfly brooch/pendant slide with sapphire, opal, ruby and diamond.
The plique-a-jour wings are pale blue/green enamel and set with 12 opals. The veins in the wings are silver, set with 163 single cut diamonds (one has been replaced with a brilliant cut).
The Great Wave — Hokusai
Another non-requested set 💗 I really like doing these sets based on famous art lately, I hope it’s not too repetitive if I make it a little collection.
Also in this collection: Starry Night and Irises

Looking for disability crafts I can do sitting in bed, so I’m channeling my inner grandma. Richelieu cutwork doily from a pattern I drew myself. Here is a link if anyone wants it!
“Necklace, England, probably 1874-87, Cabochon-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds set in gold and silver.”
One of my favorite retro pixel art tropes, the neon wireframe or schematic look, comes straight from the Tektronix 4010, a 1970s CAD computer whose vector display could draw permanently to the screen without using memory, enabling extremely high resolution line graphics.
Happy pride!! <3

i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.
there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.
anyway, here's some of my favorite browser-based interactive projects and games, if you're into that kind of thing. 90% of them are on the lists that i linked above.
A Better World - create an alternate history timeline
Alter Ego - abandonware birth-to-death life simulator game
Seedship - text-based game about colonizing a new planet
Sandboxels or ThisIsSand - free-falling sand physics games

Miniconomy - player driven economy game
Checkbox Olympics - games involving clicking checkboxes
BrantSteele.net - game show and Hunger Games simulators
Murder Games - fight to the death simulator by Orteil
Cookie Clicker - different but felt weird not including it. by Orteil.
if you're ever thinking about making a niche project that only a select number of individuals will be nerdy enough to enjoy, keep in mind i've been playing some of these games off and on for 20~ years (Alter Ego, for example). quite literally a lifetime of replayability.
since this post blew up, i've been wanting to do an addition with all of the recommendations from the comments and tags. but there's a lot of them. some people might be crazy enough to sit down and seriously put them all in one post with descriptions. those people are honestly sick in the head.
anyway, here's all of the recommendations from the reblogs. not all of them are text-based, but it's a great mixture of styles. also don't forget the links in the second paragraph of the OP which will take you to FMHY where there are a bunch more games listed.
