Headcanons about Achtsam Morden/Murder Mindfully
EDIT: I wrote this post after watching the first season but I never posted it for reasons. Hope it's not too dated!
(Disclaimer: I have only watched the show NOT in the original language- I'm currently doing that but I am taking a while- and I have not read the books from which the show is adapted. I'm also not German. And SPOILER for the show finale.)
Björn basically handles a merging between the Dragan's and Boris's gangs with contracts and written agreements- that will be kept secret in only two copies (one for each gang) that are hidden in two different places whose location only Björn knows. It's two copies so that even if one of the gangs managed to get their hands on one of them to secretly modify it in their advantage, the second copy would serve as the "original" to confront it with.
Björn is very professional about the merging. A lot of the gang members are confused about why so much paperwork in necessary and you can't just reach an agreement after a long discussion, but Björn insists that for it's more fair for everybody if their new rights and duties are explicitly written down and not left to hearsay. And, well, Dragan and Boris agree, after Björn explained it to them, of course.
Björn institues a HR department, which handles work complaints, disagreement between colleagues and traitors. They are part of the human capital of the gang, after all, but they're not necessarily treated with much humanity (see Toni).
Also, Björn often suggests, especially to the heads of the verious department of his newly-acquired criminal enterprises, to give a shot at mindfulness and meditation. This gains him the reputation of a some sort new-age hippie freak, until a few people start to try it out for fun and are like "shit, it works!"
There's coincidentally a spike in sales of Joschka Breitner's books.
Björn starts to get used to be called "boss". It's a very dangerous thing, especially when he occasionally gets reminded he isn't, he just speaks for Boris and Dragan (from the land of the dead-)
Like everybody in the cartel speak Russian and at least another eastern-european language so Björn starts to take courses on Duolingo for Russian. It goes disastruosly bad. But he meets a lot of comprehensions from the member of his organizations because a number of them came to Germany without knowing the language so well and they know frustrating learning a new language can be. They still make fun of him, though, but very lightly because his still their boss's speakperson
Sascha tries to teach Björn some basic Russian.
