An American Horror Story: Hotel filming notification slip!!!!

Film notices must be posted within 500 feet of filming and production activity to keep community members well-informed about the future obstacles that may come with film production; for example, blocked roads/sidewalks and closed parking.
These are also how I find the AHS trailers and film locations. :)Â
This film notice was taped onto a wall by the Historic Los Angeles Theater in Downtown Los Angeles while Twentieth Century Fox Television was filming  scenes for episode 4 of American Horror Story Hotel.  Â
This is a cool artifact right? You can show your friends that you have a piece of AHS:H if you win!Â
The notice describes the scene as having âAtmospheric Smoke Effects.â So when you see the atmospheric smoke effects in episode 4, you can be like OH EM GEE in knewwwww that this episode was going to have atmospheric smoke effects cause it said so on the notice!!!Â
You: *Busts out notice and shows your friends*
Friends: Where the hell did you get that
You: I have a friend in LA who mailed it to me

How to get Selfies with Celebrities: 2015 MTV VMAs Edition
This weekend my cousin Cidney and I attended the 2015 MTV VMAs. By âattended,â I mean we walked around the venue. (:Â
We prowled around the Microsoft Theater with one purpose: to get selfies with celebrities. We didnât travel all the way downtown just to go celebrity spotting. We went celebrity hunting⌠for selfies, of course.
And guess what⌠we succeeded.Â
Today Iâm going to share with you tips that will help you find celebrities at award shows and increase your chances in getting your picture with them.Â
(Tips come in order order of importance)
Tip number one: NO SCREAMING. To scream may be your initial reaction and the urge might try to escape your body, but donât let it. Screaming is the perfect way to give away your chance for one-on-one time! Your scream is the fan-girl alarm. Fans will literally RUN in your direction once they here that âAHHHHHH!!!!!âÂ
If you see a celebrity kind of far away, itâs okay to yell their name to get their attention. Depending on who it is they might ignore you the first time, so try again. But do not utter that same noise you make as if youâve just seen a spider, or as if you just dropped that turkey sandwich youâve been perfecting for the past 30 minutes.Â
You know how you whisper-yell you do when you try to get your friendâs attention who is across the classroom? Pssssssssttttt TommyyyyyyâŚ.Â
Do that.Â
Tip number two: Donât stay in the same location for too long. Hello,this is hunting! Do hunters stay in the same location all day??? (âŚ. ummm I actually donât know.)Â
Scope the area. Learn the ins and outs.
Try to find where those big black SUV cars are. Find out where the celebrities get dropped off, thatâs usually the BEST PLACE the find them.Â
Tip number three:Â Go with a friend. Make sure itâs a friend whoâs also obsessed with celebrities. You and your friend(s) can use your brain power to identify celebrities. Â
There will be times when you see a regular person (like me or you) and confuse them with a somebody (like Gaga or Nicki).Â
Friend: Is that Iggy Azelea?!Â
You: Stop tripping! No, thatâs ________!!! (LOL I WAS GOING TO THROW SHADE BUT IâLL LET YOU GUYS FILL IN THE BLANK TO WHO YOUR FRIEND WAS CONFUSING IGGY WITH)
But you get the point. You can save your friend from the embarrassment of trying to get a selfie with a nobody.Â
Tip number four: Donât ask security if you can get a picture with the celebrity. Itâs their job to say NO! Go straight to the celeb and ask. Theyâll most likely say yes and then even security will help you get the pic. *Laughing/cry face emoji*
And my last tip for today: If you see a lot of people taking a picture with someone you donât even recognize, take a picture with them too.Â
No tea no shade, but I didnât know who this pretty woman above was. I decided to take a picture with her because she was being rushed by her fans.Â
It turns out, itâs Tinashe! She has a cool song out right now.Â
We all hate ragrets, and getting pictures with celebs you donât know will help reduce the amount of regrets you have in life.Â
Keep these tips in your pocket! You never know when you may be in Los Angeles during an award show.Â
American Horror Story: Hotels Films at Historic Los Angeles Theater
Hi! I stalked the set again.Â
On Friday August 30, the Hotel crew were filming at the Los Angeles theater in Downtown LA.Â
I arrived on location at 11:30 a.m. At this time they were still preparing the set.Â
And let me tell you, it was literally 100 degrees outside. So there was no way that I was going to hang around the set all day to try to spot some of the cast.Â
I would have literally died.Â
I stayed for about 3 hours. All they did during that time was get everything ready to shoot later.Â
I didnât get to see much.Â
BUT!
This episode (episode 4) is going to have some beautiful scenes! Look how pretty the inside is.Â

It was later reported that Sarah Paulson, Helena Mattsson and Kamilla Alnes were on set that night.Â
P.S. Today Iâm going to the VMAâs (I donât have a ticket, but my cousin and I are going to walk around the venue). So Iâll have a blog about that tomorrow!Â
