It's that time of year -
Thrift shopping. Who is in dire need for an awesome last minute Halloween costume?
I am the Master.
Like, from Doctor Who?
That's a pretty specific costume, man; you think people're gonna get it?
Itâs our birthday and I canât find my freaking twin anywhere, I havenât seen her since breakfast.
Thereâs some kind of unspoken rule against this, seriously.
I could dress up and pretend to be her if it'd make you feel any better.
Text đŠ Pascal â Open
Pascal: Hey. Are you, like, busy? I know itâs late, Iâm just kind of
Pascal: Having a weird⌠thing right now.
Heath: ????
Heath: This better not be an 'I have the most awkward boner right now' text
Heath: because I've already talked Dylan through like, six of those moments today.

Titan aka the Mermaid Moon
[Cooper looked at the decorations around the hall and raised an impressed eyebrow. He spotted Heath standing around at the lockers, a proud look adorning his face.]
Iâm assuming with how smug you look right now that you did this.
[A casual shrug accompanied his wink and Cooper's words] What, am I not allowed to enjoy a feat of incredible showmanship these days without being accused of being the perpetrator?
[She had to think about that for a moment, and bursts into laughter again.] Right! You always say the funniest things, Heath!
Well, youâre in luck because I just got my first paycheck two days ago, and I can you an everything bagel with everything you want on it.
You flatter me, Ms. Woods.
Whoa, big spender! Not that I'm complaining -- I'll accept anything if it's given to me for free. What's the job?

I could probably answer that with a million things, butâ [Peter shrugs before simply mentioning whatever comes to mind.] Track, sword fighting, pumpkin pie, and, um. The Walking Dead, I guess.
[He laughs at his own response, realizing how nonsensical he mustâve sounded.]Â What about you, man?
Wait -- are you on the track team? 'Cause I haven't seen you! Then again, I haven't been to any of the meetings. Or practices. And I've gotten very good at dodging Coach when he comes to find me. But I like sunsets, long walks on the beach, and Shrek.Â
Shrek is love, Shrek is life, y'know?
Youâve been fooled, Heath Thompson. Cheated and lied to! Itâs all been for nothing.
phillip-emerson:
Nooo. Pranks donât take peopleâs money.
Cons do. [He boops his nose and giggles]
[Heath feigns shock and surprise]
Wait what? Pranks don't do that? Then why've I spent my whole like becoming a prank master? Are you telling me, Phillip Emerson, that all this has been for naught?
[Phillip snorted] Oh, Heath. You are certainly charming. But you shouldnât be such a con-artist. Itâs not a good look for you.
You appeal much better as a comedian or a professional prankster or somethin. [He starts to light up a cigarette] Though, youâd probably make more money as a con-artist.
Mon frère, would a 'professional prankster' not be classed as a con-artist? And I most assuredly would be in it for the money -- and the ladies -- so hey, whatever gets me the most, y'know?
[He'd got up well before Dawn's rosy fingers had even thought about beginning to streak across the inky black sky, but it had been well worth it. Secret cameras had been set up all around the hallways, recording everything so that even if he couldn't see it in person, he'd be able to see it again and again and again and again whenever he wanted. But that hadn't been the hard part. That had been timing it all so that everything happened once the lights went out. Not to mention the whole set-up of everything else, including the few fake stories he'd sent in to the local paper about the power getting cut and people disappearing in mysterious and sometimes horrific ways. And then there had been the time it took to actually set it all up at the school.
He was standing at his locker chatting amicably with an acquaintance when the power went out. Exactly as planned; Heath knew bribing the janitor had been worth it. A few people screamed -- his sneakily-placed blackout blinds had done their job in plunging the halls into actual darkness despite the daylight outside -- but it was when the lights came back on (slowly, the back-up generator being the illuminator), the halls still dim, that the real screaming began. Blood spattered the lockers, bats hung from the ceiling, and the air was cold -- far colder than it had been earlier, far colder than it should have been. Several students had disappeared, their friends with whom they had just been talking wandering around in a state of panic looking for them. And this was just in Heath's immediate eye line. He could hear screams coming from other halls, where students had opened their lockers only to get greeted by whatever terrifying prop he'd snuck in there.Â
It had taken time and effort and wasn't, of course, as well done as the movies would have been able to do, but for a boy with naught but his imagination and a few hundred dollars (both prop money and bribe money), he couldn't have been more pleased with the turnout]
[Heath caught the eye of someone nearby and winked. He couldn't help but show off just a little.]

Everybody's Waiting For The Next Surprise || Heath & Unique
Unique had accomplished finishing yet another day full of classes only to leave the last one with a slew of homework that she clearly did not want to think about at the present moment. Instead, the red head took to singing to help her mind slip away from the dreadful amount of assignments she had waiting for her in her back pack. Honestly, why did these teachers find such enjoyment in snow piling them with a mountain load of work?! It was like they were professionally trained to kill a studentâs social life, for which she found highly rude if her opinion were to count for anything. Even though Unique was well aware that the opinion of a freshmen truly didnât count for much, she still was rightfully upset about it, but there really wasnât much she could do about that now.
Her lips already allowed the soft melodious lyrics of the song she had in mind to escape from her. She was singing a song she was very fond of, Little House, and it honestly didnât phase her in the slightest that everyone was hearing her as she walked through the halls of the school. It wasnât as if she was paying attention, she never did when she was singing. Songs always took her away from the world around her. When she was singing, nothing mattered but the lyrics, the soft hypnotic allure of her voice, and at the present moment that was all she was tuned to.
It wasnât long before she found herself opening the doors to the auditorium, still highly lost in the melody of her own song, when a voice cut her abruptly from her peaceful world. Opening her eyes, for she had closed them once she found herself lost in her music, she saw someone sitting down as she placed a smile on her lips. âActually, I was here for music club, but it looks like Iâm early.â Curious, Unique looked at the boy and the notebook in which he was writing in. âWhat are you writing? You look really into it.âÂ
"Music club's on today and no one let me know? Usually the teach's always trying to get me to join." It wasn't a lie -- the music club's professor was always trying to get Heath to join, citing such reasons as Heath's 'gravelly-but-melodic singing voice' and his 'natural prowess with the guitar' amongst others. But between track and field, movie club, magic club, and book club, he just didn't have the time. He wasn't Hermione Granger -- though he totally wouldn't complain if he was.
Heath shot a grin at the redheaded girl, shutting his book closed with a snap! and holding it to his chest. "Uh uh," he chided. "Trade secrets. Can't let just anyone read it now, can I?" His eyes sparkled with mischief. "But if you're smart and keep an eye out during this month, you may just see bits and pieces from it appear around the school."
The notebook he had with him was filled with Halloween-style pranks that he jotted down as he thought of them. Some were ideas from previous years that he hadn't been able to bring to fruition, and he was itching to try some of them out.
Everybody's Waiting For The Next Surprise || Heath & Mel
People were getting on Melâs nerves more than usual. It probably had to do with the heightened level of paranoia they were experiencing from their last run in with the law. They had made sure to leave behind no clues, but there had been a possible witness. They hadnât forgotten their breakdown either, or the fact that Peter had been there to see it all. That, and their class schedule seemed to match up with Jace, and they had been having to pass him by every other day in the hallway to get to class. They felt like the world hated them and was constantly working against them. It sucked.Â
Seeking solace in isolation, Mel began looking for empty rooms with little to no chance of disturbances. They wouldnât be having to do this if their usual pockets of privacy had stayed private, but no. They were being forced to look else where. When they stepped in front of the auditorium doors, they had hoped it would be empty, and that no one would be coming in for practice or anything. There werenât any productions in development at the moment, not that they were aware of anyway. It was whatever anyway. Theyâd just sit in the corner in the back or something, or find another room.
They heard a voice pipe up as soon as they opened the door, and rolled their eyes when they saw who it was: Heath. And of course heâd say something like that. âGood thing I donât care,â they said in a volume that could have been heard by the other, but also not if they didnât want to listen either. Without another word or glance, they shuffled into the back aisle to the seat at the very end. The seatâs squeaking echoed through the almost empty space as they plopped down and readjusted themselves in the plush seating.
'Good thing I donât care.'
If Heath prided himself on one thing -- aside from his fiendish good looks, his charm, his wit, his intelligence, his perfect taste in jokes, and his sexual prowess -- it was his ability to get on people's nerves. So, as soon as he heard the quiet-yet-apathetic and clearly not-wanting-to-be-disturbed tone of the person who had walked through the door, he knew it was his job - nay, his duty - to prod and poke and pry.
Disentangling his limbs from the chair with the grace of a giraffe, Heath snapped his notebook shut and slipped it into the back pocket of his jeans. It didn't take him long to swiftly move to the back of the auditorium and plonk himself directly in the seat next to them, legs splayed out once more with nary a care for the other's comfort.
"Alright, I lied," he said. "I moved." As if to reemphasise his point, Heath wiggled down in the chair, his still-too-long limbs near-overflowing, for lack of a better word. "So, what's up?"Â
