Q: During the creative process, would you consider yourself a perfectionist?

A: Oh I'm definitely a perfectionist. Everything has to be perfectly done, otherwise, I consider my work trash. To be really honest, I barely got this project out and the only reason its out is because I gave myself the idea of releasing it on May 9th, my birthday, because the mixtape was introducing me as a whole. However, I have regrets about “Masterpiece”, and there are things that keep me up at night I wish I could change, because I look at every little thing I make and judge it critically. Being a perfectionist a blessing and a curse. It helps because I can always make my work better, and you're most likely in to listen to something amazing and creative. Its a curse because its the reason why I have low self esteem and overthink everything. I really have days where I think my music is utter trash, because its not the perfect way I want it. I think in my mind, if it doesn't reach a certain stand point, people wont like it, I wont like it, and its basically bad music. However, its a blessing and a curse I’m learning to deal with, and help benefit me for the future. 

Q: Provide us some background about yourself, when did music become priority number one? 

Music didn't really become priority number 1 until Freshman year of high school. I was 14, and this was around the time I realized what I wanted my purpose was on this Earth, and it was to inspire and change people. I found happiness and inspiring others and simply making their lives better. It started out with writing, and then music became what i wanted to do. I started out getting hooked on Eminem, and I was fascinated the way he could create stories that could bring all these different emotions, and I had a love for it. And then I found J Cole, who honestly changed my life forever. 

Q: Whom are your influences? 

A:  I'm just going to name my top favorite rappers: J Cole, Logic, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, and Mick Jenkins. These are the artists who have completely made the one you will soon know as Prince Inspiration. They built the love of Hip Hop inside of me, and made me realize that, life is so much deeper than regular old music, and getting regular old money. You gotta remember, money is just paper. Wealth to me is really being able to change someone's life. Wealth is having love for people. Wealth is appreciating life and having fun with the homies and the fam. That's good to me. These artists inspired that kind of mindset that I now have.  

Q: What separates you from other aspiring MC's? 

A: Honestly, my story isn't too crazy or amazing. However, I'm just a kid who wants to change the world, inspire the world. As a kid coming from Bronx, NY, there aren't a lot of artists who's dream is to do that. The goal is to mostly make trap hits and get hoes and stack money that they probably will never get. I simply just wanna gain a fanbase to spread love and inspiration, and have fun with music. I believe that money as a mindset as itself is dangerous for our society. There's less humanity and morality in our generation, and its very rare to meet a soul like me, who just wants to love. 

Q: What is your take on mainstream Hip-Hop? 

A: To be really honest, I'm not the biggest fan of mainstream Hip-Hop. It's taken away from the culture, where basically everyone's goal is to make these commercial hits that make a lot of money and are played on the radio until they're annoying to hear. Music used to really influence and change people, and now people just hop on the wave just to make some money. Money means a lot, but it isn't everything. We need more deep rappers, more lyrical, and more creativity in Hip-Hop. I shouldn't only hear Drake and Lil Uzi on the radio everyday. There are so many artists who deserve to be up there with rappers like Drake, and in my opinion make better music than Drake. However, ever since Drake joined the commercial wave, his popularity has seemingly outshined others, and further proven how mainstream commercial Hip-Hop is taking over us as a whole.

Q: If you had a choice to pick anyone to work with amongst the industry, who would that be?

A: I would probably work with J Cole, Logic, Chance the Rapper. Those are like my top 3 favorite rappers, and they have heavily influenced me as an artist and a person. My mixtape “Masterpiece” was very much influenced by a lot of J Cole and Chance, and you could really see the similar vibes.

Q: Where do you see yourself this time next year?

A: Next year I see myself with a pretty decent amount of fans, enough where I can continue to bring up the platform im currently just beginning to step on to. I plan to release a lot of music this year, and I already have so far, so by next year I do hope and expect to have caught  a lot of attention. 

Q: Favorite song at the moment?

A: My favorite song I ever made, that's been released, is probably “Instant Love”, “Pain”, Thank You. I put my absolute heart into those, and feel they were made well. If you mean in general, my favorite song right now is probably any song off of Logic's new album, “Everybody”. I can’t choose, it was such an amazing album.

Q: When should we expect new music?

A: You should definitely expect more music during the summer, and definitely later this winter season. “Masterpiece” is only the start, and is nowhere near my best, you will hear more ver soon. My goal is to put out a lot so I can make a lot of noise this year. 2017 is a big year for me, Prince Inspiration.

Q: Provide us some background about yourself, when did music become priority number one?

A: Music became priority number one when I relized that you really only live once and sometimes you just gotta chase your dreams and have faith that God’s got a plan for you.

Q: Whom are your influences?

A: Jay-Z, Kayne West, Nas, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake. 

Q: What separates you from other aspiring MC's? 

A: I mean sometimes I feel we are all the same, some just want it more. I just happen to want it the most. Watching myself put 60+ hours a week inbetween dialing radio stations and reaching out to people on social media and writing music and recording it, I don't see a lot of others working like that.

Q: What is your take on mainstream Hip-Hop? 

A: It's dope right now, I love that every type of artist can do their thing and win, from Lil Yachty to Kendrick Lamar, everyone can use their own style and make a wave. 

Q: If you had a choice to pick anyone to work with amongst the industry, who would that be?

A: Any ONE? Jay-Z. I feel he could teach me a lot about everything from the music to the business.

Q: Where do you see yourself this time next year?

A: I hope being voted in for XXL freshmen. 

Q: Favorite song at the moment?

A: This feels impossible to answer, but if I had to say one, “Humble” by K. Dot. Simple and catchy song with a great message.

Q: Although your last project was fairly recent, when should we expect new music?

A: Well I just dropped an album last month, dropped a new track this week...so...really soon..everything top secret though!!
