My delusional fan theory is this... 🤭

This year marks 30 years of Clois being married—one of the strongest, most beloved marriages in comics. A relationship that's often (not always) been written beautifully, despite years of people insisting that marrying Superman would somehow "ruin" the character or take away his mystique.

Well... here we are in 2026, and Clois is still one of the most beloved couples in comics. Their dynamic is timeless, they constantly make each other better characters, and no matter the medium, Lois Lane and Clark Kent/Superman just WORK.

Between everything we've seen in "My Adventures with Superman", the recently announced 30th anniversary special celebrating their marriage, and the ending of "Superman & Lois" —which proved just how well Lois and Clark can be written as spouses and parents without losing what makes them them......

I think it's totally fair for me, as a fan, to hope (and maybe be a little delusional ) that "Man of Tomorrow", coming out in July 2027, FINALLY gives us the proposal these two deserve. Maybe I'm reaching. Maybe I'm setting myself up for disappointment.

But here's the thing... Lois Lane deserves better than a posthumous proposal in a letter like we got in the DCEU. The most important woman in Superman's mythology deserves a proposal that's heartfelt, memorable, and worthy of her legacy. And honestly? I've really loved how the DCU has been building Clois so far.
