Getting back to UI design …slowly

The goal is to make the transition from Motion design and graphic design to the UI design and interaction. Slow. Baby steps, let’s go. Start with a simple login/Sign Up page. simple gradient with a little flourish Went and got some icons and began putting some content. User icon and lines for Login/Sign up Let’s add some directions next. it’s starting to come together finishing touches…

Fort – Commercial

  So decided to do a quick project that turned into a much lager one. It started as a commercial for a fitness brand then turn into a commercial for a Whey protein. Got the footage from pexel videos then edited the footage before adding the text and rotoscoping then did the logo reveal at the end and opened C4D lite for the 3d Logo and put it all together.

  I also took the time to animate it into a gif

  then I took it to principal for the other half.

This was my entry I used Sketch and Principal, enjoy!

So I went for black and white with highlights of neon green to accentuate the designs, I used very little African motifs to promote minimalism and still tie the brand to it’s African origins.  However I diverged a little and brought some old designs back then remembered that it was summer.

So I added a little more color and we did a couple more shoots, I am still currently designing and making items for this collection as I produce them however I should be lots of fun.

Pocket vegan – Ux/Ui

This was a quick design, I’m making a habit of doing a few things everyday and designing the things I don’t usually get to is one of those things I’m taking the initiative to do. So far have not been animating anything yet but that’s the next thing I’m pushing to accomplish everyday.

So due to a recent conversation I realized I didn’t have too many examples of infographics to show, so I went a got some facts about millennials and made this. Since I had such fun doing it I’m actually gonna make a couple more and design more data and research data.

The African folklore of Mami Wata a siren that’s been the subject of many artworks, stories and songs. I thought to make a play on the starbucks siren logo and came up with this.
