The Department of Marxism Studies and I took the first place at the final of the 8th Dali University Chinese Characters Dictation Competition on November 26th evening BJT. 12 departments participated in and each one selected five students for the contest. Li Xian'na李冼娜, Yan Yuke严雨可, Luan Ying栾莹, Dong Youmei董有梅 and I took part in the competition on behalf of the Department of the Marxism Studies. My department and I was ranked the first by team and individual score respectively. I successfully dictated many Chinese words especially 蛞蝓 ("slug" for English) and 矍铄 ("sprightly" for English) at the contest. I was over the moon when my department and I got the first place by team and individual score respectively. My fellows hailed the dual successes. The individual prize was another prize in Chinese characters dictation competition for me, following The 1st Xuzhou Senior School Chinese Characters Dictation Competition in 2013. This contest inspired me to continue studying Chinese for the international communication for myself and my country.
