A Journy with you

You say I don’t know your favorites like colour, songs or anything you so adore, or all the little things that make you..... you.

And maybe you’re right, maybe I came too close without knowing every shade of your sky, without learning every word hidden behind your eyes.

But darling, if liking you required knowing everything from the start, then tell me…. why does my heart go haywire and mind blank whenever you walk into it?

I may not know your favourite colour, but I know I like the way you glow. I may not know your favourite songs, but somehow your voice is my favourite sound. I may not know you as person, but somehow you are my everything.

So don’t ask me how I like you when I barely know you yet, but ask me why I want to.

Because I want to learn your favourite colour, your favourite song, your stupid little habits, the things you love, the things you hide, and every beautiful reason you’re afraid to let someone inside.

And maybe, someday, I’ll know you so well that I’ll know your silence too.

But for now… let me be a little foolish, a little hopeless, a little too into you……

because if knowing you is a journey, then sweetheart, I don’t mind getting lost with you. ❤️
