So you're telling me people crashed out over Valko being added to the game, so devs removed him đ. This is like people hating Yeri when she was added to Red Velvets line up.
If you dont want a werewolf boyfriend, that's fine, but you've ruined it for thousands of other people. Like, what are we doing here? It was never that serious, I promise.

Oba won. I'm sorry, but that's the only outcome that made sense. If Jey had won, we'd eventually get him versus Roman or Cody, which doesn't make sense for his character right now. Because WWE doesn't have the guts/skill to pull the trigger on a heel turn yet.
Contrary to the rest of the IWC, I don't hate Jey. Now that being said, tonight isn't his night. Oba should win. If Triple H is as smart as he thinks he is, then he will let that happen.
I also don't want Brock anywhere near my screen, but my spidey sense are telling me that he's going to come and mess everything up.
Just saw the picture of Mark wearing a confederate flag shirt. I don't want to hear anyone defending this near 30 year old man who spent the last decade benefiting from black music/culture. Just to turn around and wear a symbol that our oppressors use to this day.
They always want our rhythm but never care about our blues. This is actually disgusting to me.

Warm rays from the afternoon sun peered through the curtains of the sewing room. Mya was currently seated on the floor besides Sunoo as the pair watched a YouTube video on her phone. On the small screen before them an older woman with kind eyes spoke. She gave detailed instructions on how to start a simple embroidery pattern.
âThe most important part is the hoop. Plastic or wooden is okay, however make sure it is able to keep the fabric drum tight.â
Mya and Sunoo simultaneously looked down at the materials before them.
âI think this is what she's talking about.â Mya said while picking up a small wooden circle about six inches in width.
âI believe so.â Sunoo agreed, pink hair moving slightly as he nodded his head. âShe also stated that we needed smooth cotton fabric.âÂ
âOh, right.â Mya said as her eyes looked around the room.
Multi-colored fabrics lined the walls from floor to ceiling, and there were wooden dressers overflowing with everything from thick wool to soft silks. Sunoo had brought Mya to this small room after saying he could smell Myaâs restless energy. The young woman had laughed slightly at his words, believing that the man was merely speaking in hyperbole. Despite that, she still happily accepted the invitation. As she was in desperate need of a change in scenery.Â
Jay and Jungwon, for all their good intentions, had been by her side constantly since she almost fell down the stairs a few nights ago. While she appreciated their care, Mya was starting to find the constant attention a bit overwhelming. She had not been able to even lift a finger as the men were overly eager to be of service. Not to mention that Jay and Jungwon had practically moved into her room in the attic. She still remembers the sight of them arguing as they attempted to carry an extra bed up the spiralling staircase.
(Flashback)
âTurn it slightly to the left.â
âI am.â
âAre you even trying? Itâs okay to admit youâre too weak.â
âDonât be foolish. I could carry this by myself. Youâre just getting in the way.â
(End of Flashback)
Now she is with Sunoo. Tucked away into a quiet corner of the manor, and Mya couldn't be happier to actually be able to do something with her hands.
âThereâs so much stuff here.â Mya observed while rising to her feet. âThe type of fabric we need has to be in this room.â
She walked over to a dresser before crouching down to move a basket of crochet yarn out of the way. Sunoo was heard humming in agreement before he too rose to his feet.Â
âIt would make things much easier if this room was more organized.â Sunoo commented with a slight frown.Â
At the mention of organization, Myaâs face lit up as she turned to face Sunoo.
âOn second thought, let's just do that instead.â Her voice came out chipper as she spoke.
Iâm going to color code this whole room. Just wait. Mya thought to herself as she clasped her hands in front of her.
Sunoo on the other hand was looking at Mya as though she had grown a second head. Mya met Sunooâs eyes as confusion set across her features.
Why is he looking at me like that? Does he not like sorting stuff?
âPretty, if the state of the room bothers you that much, then we can just hire someone to fix it.â Sunoo suggested as he took a step closer to Mya. âA proper lady like you shouldn't lower herself to such things.â He finished, upper lip quirking slightly like the thought of Mya cleaning repulsed him.
âSunoo,â Mya started, âWhy would I hire someone when I can just do it myself.â
âBesides, organizing stuff is fun, and we can do it together." Mya offered while bouncing slightly on her toes.
She had hoped the pink-hired man would accept her offer as she wanted to spend more time with him. Mya had grown fond of his charisma and wit, and if she was being honest she liked being called âprettyâ the most.
âTogether?â Sunoo said slowly, almost like he was tasting the word in his mouth.
Mya felt her heart pick up slightly as she looked the man in the eyes. They were locked directly on her but the usual playful glint was gone. In its place was something intense and Mya couldn't decide if she wanted to know what it meant yet.
âUm, yeah. If you donât want to thatâs fine-â
âPrincess, if you wanted me all to yourself thatâs all you had to say.â Sunoo interrupted with a teasing smirk.
The sentence hit Mya in the chest like a punch. Her mouth opened wide while she felt like her eyes were going to buck out of her head. How dare this man just say what she was thinking.
âI-I didnât mean it like that!â Mya sputtered while waving her hands in front of her face.
What the hell is this man's issue? She thought to herself. Mya was absolutely gobsmacked at the audacity and confidence that Sunoo had.
Thereâs no way I was being that obvious right?
âNo?â Sunoo countered full on grinning at this point. âHere I thought you were asking me on a date.âÂ
The pink-haired man shrugged his shoulders before an obviously fake pout formed on his face.
âWhat!?â Mya squeaked out. Her voice cracked as she processed Sunooâs words.
A date? Heâs clearly fucking with me now.
The thought that someone as gorgeous as Sunoo would ever date someone like Mya was almost blasphemous to her. Warmth raced up her neck and crossed the finish line at her face.
âI was not asking you on a date.â Mya clarified as she pointed at Sunoo.
âYou could.â He responded quickly. He then started walking towards Mya.
Who in return stuck her arms out in an attempt to create space. A strategy that briefly worked, as Sunoo did pause once her hands made contact with his chest. However, the pink haired man then grabbed Myaâs arms with a gentle grip and placed them on top of his shoulders.
âWhat are you doing?â Mya gasped out as she felt Sunoo's hands settle gently on her hips.
Her heart was beating so hard she could feel it in her throat as she tried to take a step back only to be pulled forward again. Mya and Sunoo were now standing chest to chest as if they were about to engage in a waltz, and the young woman was sure she was going to faint from the closeness.
If I donât get out of here Iâm going to die. She thought to herself.
Myaâs eyes darted across the room as she was determined to look everywhere, but Sunooâs face. Her feet once again tried to create distance as she started to walk backwards. However, Sunoo only followed each step until Myaâs back made gentle contact with one of the wooden dressers.
âYou make a habit of running from physical affection pretty.â Sunoo mused.
âBecause I donât like it.â Mya lied as she let her eyes meet Sunooâs before quickly looking away.
âThatâs a lie.â He replied plainly as his thumbs rubbed light circles across her hip bones.Â
The air in the room began to heat up as the tension between them glowed steadily like a lit candle. Mya closed her eyes as she let herself fully grasp her situation. Her arms were around the neck of one of the most beautiful men sheâd ever seen and six other stunning men were currently roaming around the house she was now living in. She shook her head slightly in disbelief before looking at Sunoo.
âYouâre insane, you know that?â A light smile was on her lips as she spoke.Â
Sunoo, however, seemed pleased by the comment before his eyes briefly flickered down to Myaâs lips. Slowly his head tilted down until the tip of his nose brushed against her own. The rhythmic drumming of her heart could be heard in her ears as she found herself leaning in subconsciously. They were far too close for it to be easily excused, but Mya couldnât care at all. She could smell the mint on his breath, and judging by the way Sunoo was licking his lips. Mya was certain he could almost taste her vanilla lip gloss.
âYou havenât even seen what Iâm capable of yet.â Sunoo whispered before nudging his nose gently against Myaâs.
Who let her eyes flutter shut as the warmth of the moment rolled over her. A comfortable silence fell between them as the tension settled into something much softer. She could feel Sunoo giving her light eskimo kisses which caused her to giggle softly. Then suddenly the bubble popped as Mya nearly fell forward from how quickly Sunoo turned away from her.
âWhat are you doing here?â Sunoo demanded.Â
His voice was deep in a way that Mya had only heard when he was addressing Ni-ki in the office. The sudden depth to his tone instantly put Mya on alert as she knew that meant the pink haired man was upset. After blinking a few times she set her gaze on Sunoo who was looking at the closed wooden door with frosty eyes.Â
It must be one of the others. Mya thought to herself. Judging by how upset he is though, itâs probably Ni-ki or Sunghoon.
The thought of possibly dealing with another confrontation made Mya purse her lips before she let out a sigh.Â
âItâs okay Sunoo, they can come in.â Mya reassured while patting the pink-haired man on the chest.
Just because they were told to like me doesnât mean they have to follow it. Mya reminded herself.
Choice is the most important thing a person could have, and after the way things ended with her ex, Mya had no intentions of forcing someone to be with her.
âHeâs not supposed to be here.â Sunoo grumbled as he reluctantly slid his hands from where they rested on Myaâs waist.
She tried not to dwell on how much she already missed the contact and instead tried to focus on what she was going to say to either Sunghoon or Ni-ki. One of which was apparently standing quietly on the other side of the door.
Sunoo huffed in frustration before speaking. âWell are you going to come in or not. Youâve already snuck over here, stop lurking like an insect.â
Mya whipped her head to the side before telling Sunoo not to be so rude. Then she looked on as the door to the sewing room slowly opened to reveal the familiar face of.
A barista?
âHuh, hey what are you doing here?â
Mya watched as the dark-haired man shyly stepped into the sewing room before quietly closing the door behind himself.Â
âIâm surprised you remembered me.â The man commented as he scratched the back of his head.
âOf course I do. You made me the best hot chocolate Iâve ever had in my life.â Mya responded. Her smile was radiant as she recalled the tasty drink she enjoyed before she first arrived at the manor.
âOh? Thank y-â
âState your business here. The princess and I were in the middle of something.â Sunoo interrupted as he stared down the taller man.
âIn the middle of something.âÂ
A simple mention of the moment prior was enough to make Myaâs heart stutter. As she recalled the heat from both Sunooâs words and closeness. However, she quickly shook those thoughts away as the pink-haired man now looked as though he was one second away from punching the poor barista.Â
What was his name again? Soobin, I think. Mya recalled.
âSunoo, donât be that way. Soobin didnât do anything wrong.â Mya chastised while placing a gentle hand on Sunooâs shoulder.
Soobin looked at her with a surprised expression before it melted into a gentle smile.
âYou remembered my name.â He said as he adjusted his wide-rimmed glasses.
Mya met his gaze with a smile of her own. âOf course I do.â
âThat is just one of the many problems.â Sunoo huffed. âHow do you know him?âÂ
âHe works at a cafe in the town. I stopped there before I first came to the manor.â Mya explained.
She moved her hand from Sunooâs shoulder and let it fall back to her side. It was mostly Sunoo who appeared hostile at the moment, as Soobinâs expression seemed like he was pleased by the situation. Mya had naively hoped that this difference in temperament would keep things from escalating.
(POV Switch)
Something was simmering deep in Sunooâs chest as he listened to his mate explain her brief encounter with Soobin, and âthe best hot chocolate in her life.â He felt like he was going to vibrate out of his clothes from how angry he was. The Decalius batch and testing batch Star.S were not supposed to interact with each other outside of what was necessary. It was a rule imposed by Harvey, to prevent emotional overlap. However, the two groups continued to subconsciously follow the status quo even after their captors death.
Needless to say, finding out that a test subject not from his group had interacted with his mate was not appreciated at all. Sunooâs fingers twitched at his sides as the sudden urge to pull apart flesh flowed through his veins.
âGet out.â he demanded through the mind link.
As upset as he was. Sunoo refused to completely lose his temper in front of Mya.
âIâm not here to cause trouble.â Soobin placated before telling Mya that he was here visiting his cousin.
âOh? Whoâs your cousin?â Mya asked while tucking a braid behind her ear.
Sunoo frowned as Soobin lied to his mate by claiming Taehyun as family.Â
âFinal warning #546. Why are you here?â, Sunoo then walked closer to Mya before slipping his hand into hers.
A simple gesture that received a surprised squeak in response as Mya quickly looked down at their joined hands. However, Sunoo was pleased that she did not attempt to pull away despite her obvious embarrassment.
âI heard your blood bond has been severed.â Soobin stated.
Pain seared through Sunooâs chest as soon as the words left the other man's mouth. His feet moved and before Sunoo could stop himself, Soobin was pinned against the door with a forearm across his chest.
âSunoo! What the hell are you doing?â Mya exclaimed as she rushed forward and placed her hands around the arm keeping Soobin on the door.
Heâs looking down on you. On us. Sunoo wanted to say. He thinks weâre going to be bondless and without a mate like him and his group.Â
Unfortunately, none of those words came out as Sunooâs anger currently had a chokehold on his vocabulary. His mind was filled with dueling desires as the urge to make Soobin pay for the disrespect was fighting with the want to make Mya happy by letting him go. Soobin to his credit was not trying to provoke him further as the man wasnât even attempting to fight back. Sunoo felt the rope connecting him to Mya pull tight as his mate became increasingly upset.
This caused him to ease up on Soobin as he was briefly distracted by the tension of the bond. However, to his surprise, Mya noticed the slight break in focus. She then used her entire body weight to shove Sunoo off of the dark-haired man.
âJesus Christ, Sunoo what the hell is your problem!â Mya demanded as she stumbled forward slightly.
Sunoo reached his arms out in an attempt to steady her. Mya however, seeing the gesture, shoved his hands down firmly. An action that made Sunooâs eyes sting slightly.
Why? Why are you rejecting me? He thought as his mouth opened and closed in an attempt to find the right words.
âExplain. Now.â Myaâs voice was firm, but her eyes were wet. A clear indicator that she was also upset by the distance.
This realization confused Sunoo, further. Why was punishing both herself and him? They would both be happier if she would just let him hold her.
âJust speak your mind, Sunoo.â Soobin suggested from where he stood, still leaning against the door.
Speak my mind? Sunoo thought.Â
There was no such thing in this place. You did what was told exactly how it was intended. Any sort of deviation was seen as a defect, and defects meant more testing. A bitter memory entered Sunooâs mind before Myaâs voice brought him back.
âExactly.â Mya agreed while gesturing to Soobin. âYou are allowed to feel how you feel, but Iâm not going to just stand here and let you beat someone up for no reason.â
âThere is a reason!â Sunoo snapped, instantly regretting his outburst.
How could he have yelled at Mya like that? Protection, pleasure and servitude. Thatâs what he was supposed to provide. Not aggression. He was acting like an animal. Thoughts of shame ran through his mind like a murky river as Sunoo dragged his eyes back to Myaâs face. He expected to see fear or maybe even disgust. Instead, his mate simply looked sad and that was something that hurt Sunoo more than any scalpel ever did.
âIâmâŚsorry Mya-â
âI know.â Mya interrupted softly. âWe can talk about the yelling later. First you need to tell me why youâre upset.â
Sunoo let out a breath he didnât even know was being held.
Later. That means she isnât leaving. He nodded his head before clearing his throat.
Mya was standing in front of him. Her hands were in the pockets of her jacket as she waited silently. She wasnât rushing him or giving up either. The level of patience she displayed was staggering compared to what Sunoo was used to. His eyes slid to meet Soobinâs calm gaze.
âJust speak your mind.â The older man repeated as he crossed his arms.
Sunoo squared his shoulders at the comment. Strongly disliking being told what to do. However, he knew he owed Mya an explanation for his outburst. No matter how embarrassing it may feel.
âHe showed up here uninvited and disrespected our bond.â Sunoo accused while pointing an index finger at Soobin.
Mya let out a long sigh in response before running her hands up her face. She then nodded her head as if she was accepting something.
âSoobin, why are you really here?â Mya asked while pulling her braids into a ponytail. Her tone was exhausted like the simple mention of the bond was enough to drain her energy.
Soobin on the other hand, realizing he was being addressed, stood up fully from where he was leaning against the wooden door.
âSunoo, it was not my intention to start a fight. I just came here on behalf of Taehyun, to make sure Mya was alright.â
At the mention of Taehyun, all of the pink-haired man's anger dissipated. Taehyun experiment #548, notorious for acting based on logic instead of emotions. Had somehow found out about Myaâs situation. Not only that, he had deemed it important enough to send one of his own members to check on her. However, Sunoo knew that couldnât be the only reason. Soobin had met Mya before she even arrived at the manor.Â
That set up was clearly intentional. Sunoo also recalled Taehyun offering himself up for the role of security with a firmness that no one dared to question at the time.
They were watching us. Sunoo realized.
While he and his group were divided amongst themselves, and arguing about bringing Mya to the manor early. Star.S was quietly integrating themselves into the background, and waiting patiently. For what? Sunoo was still unsure. If they wanted Mya for themselves, then they had plenty of opportunities to strike. As Sunooâs group always had more interpersonal conflict than others. It would have been easy for them to step in and establish themselves as a more stable option. Despite the easy openings they haven't done so. Until now.
Now.
Sunoo thought back to the horrible night that Mya almost fell from the staircase. Then a fragmented memory of Harvey floated into his head. One of the old man and that slimy butler whispering behind the closed office door.
(Flashback)
âSir, have you heard the news regarding Carly?â Robert whispered.
âMy second daughter? What about her?â Harvey responded with an annoyed huff.
âThey are saying she fell from the balcony of her apartment building. The police are ruling as a suicide.â The butler explained.
âOh, that.â Harvey said, âYes, Iâm well aware of her untimely descent. It would have been avoidable if she had just been grateful for what I had given her.â
âWhat do you mean by that sir?â Robert questioned, confusion evident despite the quiet tone.
âThe S.S test subjects have broken their blood bond to her. Altering dark magic has consequences." Harvey answered dully. âShe has already paid the price for her greed. I will deal with the experiments personally.â
(End of Flashback)
A sinking feeling formed in Sunooâs gut as furrowed he brows. There was too much overlap. Soobinâs mate taking her own life after their blood bond was broken closely mirrored Myaâs breakdown a few nights ago in a way that was too obvious to ignore. Soobin and his group werenât trying to take Mya away. They were simply watching and hoping that history didnât repeat itself.Â
âWho told you about the spell?â Sunoo asked. His voice was calm, but it was the type of control that comes from an all consuming rage instead of apathy.Â
âNi-ki came to our home the other day. He revealed everything to Taehyun.â Soobin said with an unreadable expression on his face.
âRevealed what?â Mya asked while turning to face Soobin.
(POV Switch)
Mya looked at Soobin with curious eyes as she waited for an explanation. It seemed like the man was already aware of her blood bond to Sunoo and the others, so she wondered what information could have been new to him.Â
âNi-ki told Taehyun about his and Sunghoonâs attempt to sever your bond.â Soobin answered with a slight grimace. It was as if the simple thought of what had been done left a bitter taste in the dark-haired man's mouth.
With that, a sense of understanding began to wash over Mya as the young woman felt that she now understood the situation. First, Ni-ki and Sunghoon tried to break the bond and that plan had apparently failed. Which led the tall blonde to Taehyunâs home presumably to rant about still being connected to Mya. Then whatever was said in that rant was enough to make Taehyun feel concerned despite the fact that he and Mya had only met twice. All of this information buzzed around the young woman's head like flies.
However, one point stood out to her with sharp clarity.
She knew in her heart that the man's rejection was clearly justified. Ni-ki didnât owe her anything, not friendship, not a chance to prove she was different, and definitely not whatever relationship the bond required. On the other hand, it still hurts. It hurts in a way that Mya couldnât even explain fully. Her attachment to the men in the manor happened way too quickly to be normal, let alone her desire for them to like her.
Ni-ki must really hate my guts, huh? Mya thought to herself as she stopped herself from frowning.Â
Could this perhaps be her grandfather's work at play, or was she really so desperate for affection that sheâd take it even from those forced to give such? The implication almost made her physically recoil. What was wrong with her?
âDatus CaptusâÂ
A memory of metallic voices rung through her head. She had researched the phrase furiously during one of the rare moments she was left alone. Every time, the results showed something loosely translated as âGiven Takenâ.
âThey want me to give it back.â Mya mumbled out loud while looking at her feet.
âWhat did you say?â Soobin's voice was rushed as he crossed the room in long steps until he was directly in front of Mya.
Mya looked up, shocked by the sudden closeness as Sunoo quickly came over and stuck his right arm in between her and Soobin.
âGive her some space.â Sunoo gritted out. âYou are here to explain. Not invade.â
Soobinâs head snapped towards Sunoo as he shot the pink-haired man a piercing gaze.
âHer safety takes paramount over your insecurity." Soobin declared.Â
His tone was cold and calculated, compared to the soft voice he had used earlier. At that moment, it finally clicked to Mya that something was really wrong here. Her left hand rose as she stared to pluck at her eyelashes.Â
âMya.â Soobinâs voice called out to her. This time, his tone was calm as he gently placed both of his hands on top of the young woman's shoulders.
âWhat did they say to you?â He asked as his eyes boiled into her own.
âWho?â Sunoo questioned, his tone was sharp as looked between Mya and Soobin.
Mya met the baristaâs stare with her own shaky eyes as a voice in the back of her head continued yelling that danger was around the corner.
âIâm scared.â She whispered.Â
Mya was unsure if she should have even revealed it, as the admission tiptoed into the air. A part of her knew that saying outloud, confirming her fear would be molding her vulnerability from a soft idea into a concrete reality. The irony wasnât lost on her. She had just been trying to convince Sunoo to do the same thing. To be open, to let her in, and yet here she was struggling to do the same thing. Shame began to bubble up through her as her instinct to deflect and claim that everything was fine began to rear it ugly head.
However, the sight before her prevented Mya from speaking. Soobin had pulled his lips into a thin line before he looked down at the floor between them. In the midst of his silence, Mya swore she felt his hands shaking slightly from where they sat on her shoulders. Sunoo then turned to face her completely before speaking.
âMya, I understand that there are many things you are unaware of.â Sunoo started as he used a gentle hand to move a braid out of her face. âI swear, on the stars in the sky, that I will explain it all to you, but first you need to tell me what happened that night.â
That night
How can I tell him to be honest with me and hesitate to do the same thing. Mya thought disapprovingly.
She then let out a long sigh causing Soobin to finally look up at her again.
âWhen I was outside. I-I guess I wasnât really outside.â Mya started before shaking her head.
Get on with it.
A frustrated huff left her chest before she felt a soft touch near her left pinky. Mya looked down to see Sunooâs fingers tentatively brushing against her own. Her eyes floated up to see the pink-haired man giving her a gentle smile.
âItâs okay to speak the truth.â Soobin chimed in as he slid his hands from Myaâs shoulders to her elbows.
They were only small actions, but it was enough to make the knot in her chest loosen. She wasnât crazy. Something was really going on with her. Mya just had to trust the people in front of her.
âThey told me to give back what I took.â She continued as she looked between the two men. âI donât know what that means though. I looked it up. It's like some strange Latin word or something.âÂ
âWhat was it?â Sunoo asked while slightly tilting his head to the side.
âDatus Captusâ Mya and Soobin said simultaneously.
The young woman's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Soobin.
âHow do you know that?â She questioned while the taller man let go of her.
Soobin was running his hands over his face in frustration, long legs pacing across the small sewing room.
âWhen we broke our bond toâŚto her.â The dark-haired man gritted out as he stopped moving. âHer health deteriorated quickly.â
âMigranes, fatigue-â
âNightmares.â Sunoo interrupted quietly while tightening his grip on Myaâs hand.
Soobin nodded his head in agreement before continuing.
âThere were fevers, paranoia, and-â
âDeath.â Mya whispered as a stinging sensation began around her eyes. âShe died, didnât she?â Her voice cracked as she finished speaking.
At that moment, Soobin looked at her with something close to pity in his eyes, and the implication made Mya want to vomit.
âNo such thing will happen to you.â Sunoo claimed. The man then pulled Mya into his chest.
She took comfort in the embrace despite the fact that she had just been told about her impending death.
âWho is overseeing bond finalization following Harveyâs death?â Soobin asked while turning to face Sunoo.
âHeeseung will know what to do.â Sunoo answered as he tightened his hold around Myaâs waist. âI believe he was brought into the manor around the same time as your batch, yes?â
âThen we will find Heeseung and inform him about your mate's mana poisoning." Soobin decided while opening the door and gesturing towards it. âUntil then, Mya should not be left alone.â
Following the man's lead, Mya decided to walk through it and into the hallway.
âI havenât been left alone since the night I almost fell.â She revealed, struggling to keep up with Soobinâs long gait.
Sunoo however was still firmly next to her with his hand on the small of her back.
âItâs true.â Sunoo confirmed as they walked down the hallway. âJungwon and Jay have been in charge of her care.â
âThat is good.â Soobin said as he turned towards the staircase that led back to the second floor. âYour insistence on being by her side is the only reason why the bond has been preserved.â
âWhat does that mean?â Mya questioned while jogging down the stairs behind Soobin.
âIsolation decreases attachment. It also means vulnerability.â Soobin explained before pausing in the middle of the steps. âIf she is left alone the nightmare will get her.â
Mya stared at the back of Soobinâs head as she let the words sink in. She recalled the dark glowing eyes and the shrill voices screaming at her.
âJay is specifically designed to prevent that.â Sunoo informed, from where he stood next to Mya.
âI wonder why that is?â mused Soobin. âWas Harvey just trying to see what stuck best with his vessel, or was he trying to prevent another family member from hitting the ground.â
âWhat is going on here?â a demanding voice echoed around.
Mya looked up to see a very pissed off Heeseung standing at the bottom of the steps. However she was surprised to notice Sunghoon was also with him. For a moment she let her brown eyes meet Sunghoon's dark ones, but she ripped them away when the lightbulbs suddenly started to increase in brightness.
âHeâs not here to cause trouble.â Mya said while walking down the steps until she was right in front of Heeseung.
The tall man let his eyes flicker down to hers briefly before they went back to Soobin.
âYou better have a good reason for being out of bed.â Heeseung monotoned.
Despite the fact that he was not looking at her, Mya knew that sentence was clearly met for her.
âThe reason isâŚâ She trailed off before looking behind her to where Soobin and Sunoo were waiting on the steps. âThe reason is that Soobin is here to help me.â Mya answered.
Hoping that response would be good enough for Heeseung. However, she watched as his face twitched slightly before he opened his mouth.
âYour bond with Mya has been severely damaged. We can argue about the logistics of me being here later.â Soobin asserted while he finished walking down the stairs.Â
Sunoo followed quietly before he stood directly in front of Mya. She watched on as the two men had some sort of silent conversation with the eyes before Heeseungâs head snapped in Sunghoonâs direction. Sunghoon flinched slightly at the attention before he turned his head to look at Mya.
âThis outcome wasnât my intention.â He said quietly.
It wasnât an apology, and Mya wasnât expecting one. However, simply knowing that Sunghoon hadn't planned for her to die was enough for the young woman. She watched as the man stuck his hand into his pocket, and the quiet crunching of paper could be heard coming from his jacket.
âIntention doesnât erase impact.â Soobin said flatly. âNow we need to go to the spell room.â

I knew this rebrand was coming. I told you guys there was no way the company was going to keep the vampire theme when Heeseung was the main character of the lore. They want to pretend he was never in the group, so they have to scrub every corner clean. It just sucks because their concept really helped them stand out.
However, I do think it's time for them to branch out from the boyfriend shtick. It could be a nice change of pace for the members and we need a fandom cleanse badly. I just wish Belfit would focus on punishing they're stalkers instead of posting mood boards.
