Today's brand new Dietz Dolls pinup artwork is another Earl Moran Coca-Cola advertisment inspired pinup girl, focusing this time on the late 1930s. Coca-Cola had a massive push in the 1930s to get people to buy 6-bottle cartons for the home. However, company president Robert Woodruff discovered a hurdle: women weren't buying the cartons because they didn't have a bottle opener handy in the kitchen to actually open them. His solution: He hired teams of women to go door-to-door across the United States, not just handing out, but physically installing wall-mounted Coca-Cola bottle openers in people's homes.
