the full extent of my conversation with @byewool, part two of two. These aren't edited at all, every single bit of dialogue is there. for context, Leon and I have been on-again-off-again "friends" for three years. about four or so weeks after our most recent "make-up" he proceeded to soft-block me. Having put up with, cried over, and lost friends over this toxic "relationship" I decided to draw a line. I made a post that simply and politely asked people to unfollow me if they associated with him because I wanted to completely cut ties. I did not url-drop and I stated in the tags that I was not there for drama and that I would not get into the situation. Alongside that, I dropped mutual friends that had close ties with him entirely and asked mutual friends that did not have close ties with him to pick one of us. I am aware that's often a bad thing to do, but I was close friends with the majority of them. All in all I dropped 2 people who were close to him and asked no more than 3 others who they would prefer to stay with. Leon messaged me on his own. I did not have him blocked because he'd soft blocked me and I wanted to believe that meant he would leave me alone. I did not prompt him to message me, that was his choice.
