Find someone who loves you well. Someone who never belittles you. Even in the heat of an argument. Someone who is gentle with you, but does not treat you like you are fragile. Someone who knows what you are capable of, and celebrates those pieces of you. Not someone who is intimidated by your strength. Someone who doesn’t make you feel guilty for being flawed. It is not love’s job to punish you. And remember the person you love is just as broken as you are when they fall short. No one is perfect – do not hold them to this standard. Find someone who is patient, forgiving, and apologetic. Someone who practices forgiveness freely and often. Love someone who is humble, kind, and empathetic. Not only with you, but with a beggar on the street, or a stranger in the supermarket. Common courtesy is important. Compassion is important. Kindness is important.

Uno de los libros más útiles que he leído para mi vida general porque su aplicación no se queda solo en el cristianismo. El pastor Craig nos lleva a través de la explicación de 7 decisiones básicas que tenemos que tomar en diferentes situaciones de nuestra vida y como cada una de ellas determina un rumbo distinto.

She realizes that even when everything is falling apart, He is holding her together. ⠀ She remembers that there is no failed relationship that can keep her from His love. There is no amount of being rejected or misunderstood that can keep her from growing in His grace. There is no unknown path she walks that keeps Him from walking with her. ⠀ I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people. - Leviticus 26:12 ⠀ On days like this, where there are far too many things that don’t make sense, she keeps walking, trusting that even out here, even her deepest pain cannot mark the end of the path, for it is only a valley on a much greater journey where she knows by grace, she will make it through. ⠀ She knows this because of Jesus, and because of Him, she knows she does not walk alone. Her heart, her soul, belong to God.
