“I see. That makes sense.” Gust Man nods before staring at his hand, “I was built to clean up bad air and dispel oxygen, but I chose to train myself to fight for my creators.”

“You know, when you said judgemental, you remind me of my brother Watcher Man. He doesn’t trust anyone aside from us and trusts humans less. However, he is a nice guy behind those walls.” He smiled at the thought of his brother.

“Oh really now? Well, I can understand not trusting others aside from family, but not trusting any humans? Hah, he sound like robot version of people from my hometown!” Knight Man laughs a bit at that, but he notices Gust Man smile as he speaks of his brother. “Well, either way, your brother is good robot! Takes care of his brothers and sister!”

“I see, she sounds like a nice woman.” He says before moving on. He nods at Knight Man’s remark, “It was like I was out of touch with reality, but yes. I do hope we can.”

“I miss them… And I know my other siblings do too.” He muses before shaking off some snow in his arm filters. “There is a lot of snow in the filters.”

“Well, fire should be really big and warm in a few moments now, so do not worry!” Knight Man said, trying to sound encouraging. “Trust me, there is no better thing than a warm, roaring fire!”

“I- It’s fine, you did not mean to…” Gust Man assured, he’s trying not to let the sad thoughts get to him. When he was brought to the fireplace, he felt his filters slowly starting to empty. “Thank you, and it’s okay….”

“I’m a little surprised you heard of them, they aren’t very famous but yes, they were great people.” He nods. “I don’t know what to do now… I feel so lost without them… The only thing I can do is to do my job and find my siblings.”

“Remember how I said I was looking for someone? That was my siblings. After hearing the news, I went into shutdown for reasons I would not explain. I woke up many months later to find that 5 of my siblings have disappeared. I, my sister and I, we’re both tying to piece our family back together the best we can, but I can’t help but feel lost.” He admits, he doesn’t sound sad, just tired. “I know that we would never be the same, but the least we can do is to sew the cloth back with what we got.”

Knight Man nods slowly. “Well, not me, but my creator. Dr. Angela Züell, have heard of them. She is a great roboticist, unfortunately born in one of the most robot-oppressive countries of modern time.” he’d sigh, but not getting into it right now as Gust Man told his story.

“Actually, I was looking for someone.” Gust Man said, “While I do challenge the weathers from time to time, I was looking for someone this time and got caught in the blizzard.”

He jolted at the mention of his creator, the mood seemed to have shifted to a more somber tone. Gust Man looked down on the floor as he answered the question, “DHN stand for Dr Homa Numbers. My creators are the couple Cassidy and Nester Homa. They used to help repair robots of all kinds…”

The names were familiar, they made the news once… But in an airplane crash— oh no.

He exhaled, his voice was shaky. “They’re not here anymore…”

Knight Man seemed to start recognizing the names for a bit, and when he shifted and turned his servos for a bit to see if he could remember them… oh dear. His optics widened as he realized what he had done. He immediately forgets about fixing up the fireplace – but not before making sure nothing was catching on fire – as he rushes over and scoops up Gust Man again into a hug.

“I’m a little surprised you heard of them, they aren’t very famous but yes, they were great people.” He nods. “I don’t know what to do now... I feel so lost without them... The only thing I can do is to do my job and find my siblings.”

“I’m DHN.002 Gust Man.” Gust Man said blankly before he speaks again, a little awkwardly. “I apologise if I am too formal, I’m not the best at talking.”

Seeing as how the blizzard won’t interfere, Gust Man turned on his heating systems, causing the snow to slowly melt into water and get out of his filters. “I was flying when snow got into my filters, causing me to crash down. It may take a while before I can fly again.”

“Flying? In this weather? Ha ha ha!” Knight Man laughs, but it was not a mocking laugh; rather, it was a most jovial one! “That is good! Challenge the weathers to make yourself strong! But uh, might not be smartest idea! Brave, yes! But not smart.” he was currently stacking some blocks of wood into the fireplace, then tried to see if there was any dried-up paper or the sorts laying about.

 “Ja! For now, we are!” Knight Man says as he’d shut the door behind him, before inspecting the cabin. Thankfully it looked abandoned, but it was still of use. “Ah, wunderbar! This will make a fine temporary base!” he’d say as he’d put Gust Man down, and begin to move over to the fireplace. “And there’s already chopped-up wood! Even better!”

This frigid evening was not being favorable for Knight Man. The harsh winds on his bulky frame shouldn’t bother him this much due to his size and power, but for some reason it was really weighing him down! And as if things weren’t enough, someone had just crashed in front of him! Not even hesitating, he’d scoop the smaller one up into his arms.

“Hold on, little one! I’ll get us both to safety!” he’d speak loudly over the wind, managing to spot a small cabin in the distance, as he’d trudge his way over to it.

He can’t feel how cold it is, but if this was what humans felt like when travelling through snow, then it really is a pain.

Hey there folks, sorry I haven’t been posting much here as of late but that partially has to do with me lacking motivation and partially due to not many being interested in this blog. (at least from what I know) But, my muse has been regained and I’ve got an idea on adding another but, I want to see there are people still interested in interacting with me, so...

Hokay! Figured I’d get the ball rolling on this blog too, since I miss my sweet child Moon Moon.

“Oh! I actually have a lot of big brothers since I’m the second youngest in the line.” Code Man clarifies before he said, “The one I mentioned earlier is Watcher, there’s also Gale, Rocker, Film, Sound, big sis Poppy, big sis Silver and the Ani Twins! The only one younger than me is Scrappy.”

“Watcher is kind of a grouch and doesn’t trust humans or anyone often. He also does annoy a lot of people for reasons I don’t know but he’s really kind once you gained his trust and super cool! He’s also very very smart!”

What an innocent child…

This was excellent information to be able to send to Wily. 

“I see. Watcher sounds a bit like me, then. I’ll keep an eye out for your siblings.”

Magnet tilted his head. 

“As for me, I work to hack or make programs! I can hack into anything as long as it’s an electronic device or it has some kind of programming of sorts. Some devices I can’t take control of directly like this buggy, I had to use its remote control to do so.” Code Man explains ever so merrily, “I can also have my sensors connected to it and move my consciousness through different programs like using drones to look out for anyone or my siblings!”

The last part seemed to tamper his mood because now Code Man sounded sad, his screen showing a small sad face.

“Oh, my name is Code Man! It’s nice to meet you Mr Magnet Man!” Code Man said, his neon blue ‘^^’ showed up on his screen. “So why did you call me and ask me who I was? Did you need something?”

“Uhh, who are you first?” Magnet Man would find himself staring at a small 30.48cm tall robot with a black screen covering half of his face staring up at him while in a remote controlled toy buggy. Code Man stares up unblinkingly at Magnet Man, tilting his head in confusion before he speaks again, his mouth unmoving. “Big bro says that it’s rude to ask for someone’s name without introducing yourself.”

“…”

A child. Or a robot modeled after one, at least. The large Wilybot straightened up, the tension dissipating from his frame.

Fuse sat in his Papasan chair. He had moved it to the living room for the one specific purpose of today. Around the chair, and also in the chair, were packages of snacks of all kinds. There was also a conveniently placed trashcan.

Fuse would've been more cautious around the appearance of a sudden stranger, but it was lazy day, and he was not about to trouble himself with thinking about all the ways this stranger could hurt him
