TANDY / DAGGER.

“You absolute asshole. Do you know how worried we all were? And yes, I know. You didn’t choose to be dead. I’m just — I’m glad to see you. That’s all.”

“No, really. Repeat that.”

"Got a lot of crime.” She comments. That works out well for her and Tyrone. There’s always something to do or someone to bust. “I was a privileged asshole, honestly. I ran away from home when my mom remarried. I ended up at a shelter.” Everything had been different after that. She and Ty had been injected with the drug that helped awaken their powers, leaving them the only survivors of the experiment. “I wouldn’t change anything,” Tandy admits. “But if I ever saw my past self, I would shake the hell out of her.”

"Making things float? I could ask the same of you.”

“Of course I am. She deserves to be in jail. But that’s not how the world works, is it? You should know that better than anyone. Bad guys get away all the time.” Tandy pauses, her head shaking. “I don’t know if Ty would be into that, and we’re a team. I’d need to talk to him before I agreed to anything.”

“God, Felicia, you can be a massive bitch.” Tandy scoffs. “I’ve done my part, I’ve let you know. Have a nice night.”

“Oh.” There’s too many Peter’s now. Tandy searches her mind for a second. “You want the little Peter?” The one who’s basically her age. 

“This isn’t a vent sesh? I guess I read the room wrong.” Blue eyes roll. “I’m not an Avenger.” She’s a Savage Avenger, but they’re not really affiliated. “Neither do I. I just need to figure out what the hell they did to us, and then I’ll be on my way.”

“Considering the fact that Peter’s dead, yeah. I think we all need to be out there doing something.”

“Illegal enough to get us picked up by Pleasant Hill. I know I said earlier we don’t need a lawyer. That’s because we want to fade out of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s attention, not make ourselves targets again.” There’s a lot of people out there gearing up to fight the agency. Tandy knows she and Ty need to stay on the street level like always.

“Wait, you’re looking for Peter?” Tandy knows Peter pretty well. Knew Peter pretty well. She’s not sure what the cover story is for where he’s gone, but his loss is acutely felt. “I’m not sure you’ll be able to find him.”

“I think you and I have different definitions of taken care of.” Tandy would prefer dead, but she knows that’s not how things go. That’s not how she or Ty operate. They don’t do things by the book, but they don’t kill either.

“You either love it or hate it. There’s no middle ground in the city that never sleeps.” Tandy had learned to love it, but the streets had a tendency to get cold. She had spent a long time struggling at the bottom of the barrel before she had become Dagger. Her history helps inform who she was. She’ll always carry the cold and hungry girl inside of her who was fighting to survive. “Shaker Heights, Ohio. Believe it or not. Basically a world away.” Does she miss it? Not at all. Tandy would take the cold of the streets any day. “Uber’s the car service with the app. Never downloaded it. My friend usually gives me a lift.”

For a long moment, Tandy just stares at Julian. There is no reason other than ego and pride to indulge him. Still, she chucks two daggers in rapid succession. They both hit the center of the target. A brow arches in his direction.

“I’m Tandy Bowen, Dagger. My partner is Tyrone Johnson: Cloak. We’re Cloak & Dagger.” If that wasn’t obvious.

“Peter’s not the only one who keeps a finger to the pulse of the city. Don’t act like you haven’t been helping out as well.” Black Cat isn’t as bad she had been, and that’s fine. It’s another potential ally in the never ending fight against crime. “It’s always a problem with Mister Negative. It’s about making sure it doesn’t become a big one.”

Another one? They had to be on the way to some sort of multiversal record. Balancing a light dagger in one hand, the blonde observed the stranger for a moment. “You’re being a little vague there. Might’ve seen ‘em, might not have.”
