Madness - Self Portrait Part of the ongoing #WakingDream series.

This memorabilia belonged to my great grandfather, RAF Group Captain John Rees. Inside the log book on the left is a telegraph message the soldiers of WWII could send back home to let their families know they were alive. The Green note on the right is fake money that was air dropped into Europe to try and ruin the Allied economy. Behind the material survival guides you'll see some silk maps that were both sewn into a pilot's uniform that they could find their way out of enemy territory if they were shot down.

Smoker #WakingDream is a new project focused on bringing awareness to those suffering from mental illness by showing what it's like to live with things such as schizophrenia. DM If you would like to be involved in the project.
