MISS POTENTIAL.

             The coldness of the air is sharp against her skin, slicing in its conquest over her direction. A breath or two of hot air is mustered into her hand in an attempt to warm herself, quickly rubbing them together in order to create a minimal amount of friction. Her cheeks are rosy with thermal, flushed as her body tries to heat up, arms wrapping to embrace herself against the chill.    

                   Someone of her blood was far from used to such extreme changes.

            She quivers, eyebrows scrunching at her weak, useless statement.

                                       ❛ Really ? I hadn’t noticed. ❜

It’s stupid. Her initial fear of drowning. And while it may be a vital part of their training, it’s the only part she’s not been able to master—unlike her teammates.

             And - it frustrates her. It frustrates her so much. Knowing she hasn’t perfected something that would seem so simple in comparison to her higher, superb achievements, especially with the conditions of her powers; it made her loathe being in the water.

Yet here she is, still desperately trying to learn to swim, and thus far, it’s a PAIN, the freezing water sending a shudder through her.

     Instinctively, at the assuring words, she clings even more so to her teammate, frantically for dear life, legs tightening around him in an effort not to sink to the bottom of the floor. Her hands practically squeeze his arms, aiming to relieve her anxiety.

Opinion on;

Character in general: ino is…. something else. i really did love her at a time and i loved how compassionate she seemed even if it didn’t show much. she’s earned a spot somewhere in my heart, really. i can go on for days but i’ll spare you.How they play them: excellency???? i used to run an ino blog myself for about four years before i called it quits but legitimately you make her out to be exactly who she is and you don’t water down her character into a ditzy-bombshell wannabe. you don’t make her too “cool” either you play her exactly as she should be played.The Mun: a babe i would kill to get to know better

crimson drips over the gloves of her hands and her neck, drenched with the blood of an enemy from their prior aftermath. her knees dig into the cold, dirty ground, and her senses have heightened to an extent, the sticky, coppery sensation, an omen to the dead, it refuses to wash away from her.

                     she’s instantly worn with shock when she feels the arms envelope her and force her into their embrace, expression contorting with the appalling sensation. cloudy eyes widen into a doe-like innocence, a whimper etched from her throat.

            how does she feel such a warmth with someone so robotic? someone so malicious, so unpredictable, so emotionless? someone who kills with cold blood, has a lust for anything with death’s name on it?

Long legs extend from the arm of her chair, limbs swaying casually as she slips through the pages of her magazine, interest piqued. Her headphones block out the onset of noise, allowing her to craft an environment of her own.

             She’s fully relaxed and emerged in her entertainment until she’s suddenly yanked from her wonderland and into the arms of an old woman. The next thing she knows, she’s struggling and squirming about, attempting to escape from the powerful grip of the woman squeezing the life out of her.   

For someone so OLD, Nana had an unusually strong clench on her. Yodo almost considered screaming out for help if she could breathe. 

HER MIND FREEZES : She doesn’t expect the sudden grab of her wrist, or when he’s abruptly pulling her towards him and into his arms. It’s too much of a surprise for her to process, and she can only wonder what goes through her teammate’s head—why he feels compelled to handle her with such a delicacy only an artist can carry. It’s unexpected, random, and she’d be a liar if she said she hadn’t appreciated the gesture. She’s unbothered to ask why he’s done it, either. 

                     She’s only in it for the moment. 

            There’s a light blush happily gracing the cream of her cheeks, and she buries her face within the shoulder of his cloak to conceal her hidden glee—her weakness. light hands move from her sides to subtly and loosely hug back. 

                                      ❛ Can’t resist me ? ❜ She can’t help herself from teasing, tone playful in nature.
